Shared Pin Question

If I share a pin with my players and it includes a link to a note I haven't shared, is the note still locked? Or does sharing the pin override the sharing status of the note?

Only the pin would be shared. Any links in whatever was shared would remain locked unless you share them.

To clarify: the item that is directly linked via the pin (note, story, image, whatever) becomes shared - but if that item contains other links within it, those other links are not shared.
