How do I incorporate a damage threshold so that FG knows the cancel any damage less than the given number...while applying full damage if the number is equal to or greater than the given number?

The simple answer is that you can't automate something like this. It would be fine if the object just reduced all incoming damage by a set amount but it doesn't. It will have to be done manually. Your best bet is to roll the damage without a target and if it exceeds the damage threshold you can then drag it onto the target otherwise no damage is taken.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of hardness applications in FG.

We need a

Hardness: (n), (t)

effect now :)
