I'm trying to edit the feats database to include feats from other sources...
Anyways I'm editing feats.xml in the rulesets\d20\database directory.
I've added the following entry as such..
<h>APPRAISE MAGIC VALUE [GENERAL]</h>
<p><b>Prerequisites:</b> Here's the prereq.</p>
<p><b>Benefit:</b> Here is the benefit!.</p>
However when I run Fantasy Grounds it doesn't show up at all.. :(
Any help would be appreciated.

What you're doing wrong is editing the files inside the rulesets\d20 folder. Those files are there for you to copy as a template. You need to copy the folder and call it something else like rulesets\d20-Trent. Modify the files within that new ruleset.
Start a new campaign using the d20-Trent ruleset, and you'll see your changes.
Hope that sets you on the path...

Have you made sure that the file called base.xml (which basically tells FG what data files to use) has the correct path to your rulesets such that
<staticdata source="rulesets\d20-SRD\database\feats.xml" />
now reads
<staticdata source="rulesets\d20-Trent\database\feats.xml" />
If you have modified the feats.xml file ... it should then show up.
