Hey all,

Looking for opinions as to what Savage Worlds material would work well together in the Fantasy Grounds Savage Worlds ruleset?

For example: would the bestiary from Rippers work well in a Weird War II setting? From a Fantasy Grounds rules compatibility point of view?

In general, you can freely mix and match settings and companions. Where you could run into trouble is if there is an Edge, Spell, or whatever by the same name in two different sources that for some reason don't work the same way. You'd need to inform the players about which version to use for your game and double-check their character sheets to make sure they haven't gotten the wrong one. A bigger issue is if you are combining a source that introduces a new derived trait that shows up on the character sheet. For example, the Horror Companion and the Realm of Cthulhu both have the Sanity trait, but with different rules. If you use both sources, you'll end up with two Sanity boxes on the character sheet. If you just wanted to combine the Horror Companion for Edges/Hindrances/monsters for your 1920s Werewolves of London game, but don't plan to use the Sanity rules, you can just tell your players to ignore it, but since FG automates so much, it's possible that it could occasionally cause an issue if a player is just messing around with their character sheet. If you just want some of the NPCs from a source like in your example (and this also applies to Edges/Hindrances/Spells/etc.), the best thing to do is create your own module by dragging and dropping them into a game you create just for building the module, then exporting the module. For your game you then only need the Weird Wars II setting and your module loaded, but don't need the Rippers setting loaded (which is a setting that also introduces the derived stats Reason and Status, which probably aren't applicable to your game).

One of the reasons I love the interface zero setting, being cyberpunk their VR Worlds can be any setting inside Savage Worlds.

I get a chance to bring back old liked settings as well as try out ones I had an interest in.
