Soaking

I know this is someplace and I've spent a half hour searching and reading so I'll just toss it up and hope for the best.

Is there an easy way for the GM to soak wounds, IE player hits my ape for 11 damage has a toughness of 5 so poof a wound!
Atm I've just been dragging a benny into the chat then rolling and vigor and manually adjusting it.

Is there a much easier way to do this?

I drag a GM Bennie onto the Combat Tracker and over the NPC's injury. It then rolls the soak.
