Is there a way to bring the chat log to the foreground. for instance if i have a large map up or something like that. can i make it be on top?

There's really no way to bring the chat window on top of the other windows. It's designed to be a panel that sits on the desktop and stays there.

It might be possible to write an extension that detaches the chat panel into a floating window - but care would have to be taken to ensure it is never closed - as a lot of functionality of FG is driven through the chat window. I think there would probably be more issues with trying to make it floating and open.

You can resize the move the chat window around the desktop to help window placement a little. But if there is a big map, I'd recommend reducing the size of the window displaying the map and zoom/pan the map within that window as required.

Maps are the main reason I use two monitors.
