Hey there, so I was at my local game store and I saw Colonial Gothic in the back, never really paid attention to it until the other night - I was just curious of two things.
1) If anyone has played it, how does it play - what are the basic rules?
2) Is there support in FG for it?

Ive never played. But there are approximately 8,000 RPGs that Ive never played...
Most agme systems can be supported using MoreCore.

Not played Colonial Gothic, but have played a brief one-shot Thousand Suns game using the same system (12 degrees). The game system is similar to Brutal Games' system for Corporation, except using d12s instead of d10s. As I recall, it's fairly quick to play (it's been a while). Your ability+skill form a target number for a 2d12 roll. Roll equal or under the target number and you succeed. Combat damage can be pretty deadly, as your vitality can be reduced by a lucky hit (damage is base weapon x degree of success).
[EDIT] Just looked at the Colonial Gothic rulebook I've got and the 12 degrees system seems to be slightly different to that of Thousand Suns in that the TN for a roll is a fixed value and the roll + ability modifier + skill has to beat the TN instead of rolling under. I don't know how this affects the game system. It looks as though the comparison won't be of use.

That's why I play it.
