Character's Folder?

I'm looking at building a pokemon (PTA) ruleset into FG, but I've his a conceptual snag that will cause issues. Every player will have their trainer and up to 6 active pokemon. I don't want to have to sort through hundreds of sheets to find the ones I want, and have 24 tokens for active characters at the top of my screen. Is there a way to have character's with sub characters, or make character folders for organisation etc?

Hi Tellgraith, welcome to FG.

I believe some rulesets such as Savage Worlds allow for characters to have followers attached to the character sheet. So it is possible. I don’t think that is part of the Core ruleset however which is what I assume you are using.

Maybe look at using NPCs. The GM will have to share them with you once they've been added to the Combat Tracker when needed (And change the faction to green - friendly). Each player can store links to shared NPCs in a Story entry (drag/drop the link) - but will need to renew these if the NPC is removed from the combat tracker as the link is to a copy in the CT not the original NPC record.

NPC's won't work unless the players can go into an modify the Sheets. I wonder how easy it'd be to go into savage world's code and extract/salvage the followers code
