I just started using Fantasy Grounds and I'm having trouble with one of my players connecting to the game. I have the 1802 port open in my modem and firewall, and get a success when doing the connection test and from canyouseeme.org. I can connect to it using localhost and another player on the same network (different computer) can connect as well.

My console log has this:
[20.01.2018 18:01:15] Runtime Notice: Initializing DirectX
[20.01.2018 18:01:15] Runtime Notice: Initializing COM
[20.01.2018 18:01:23] Runtime Notice: Fantasy Grounds starting
[20.01.2018 18:01:34] Runtime Notice: Refreshing alias
[20.01.2018 18:01:34] Runtime Notice: Alias refresh result = Success
[20.01.2018 18:01:34] Runtime Notice: Host session started
[20.01.2018 18:04:10] Network Notice: 'username' connected
[20.01.2018 18:06:11] Network Warning: Client connection 'username' closed
[20.01.2018 18:07:11] Network Notice: 'username' disconnected

I've double checked and there is no password on my game. The player has also make sure to open 1802 port in his network (and gets a success when running the connection test)
Any ideas?

This is not required for players, only the GM needs port 1802 open and forwarded.

If other players are not having problems connecting, this indicates a problem with that player's connection. They may have DDoS protection turned on (which will shut down the connection if you get large bursts of data, such as downloading a lot of content from the GM), or they may have some protections that are dropping the connection due to their AV and / or firewall software

Also make sure that he is using a unique username - not one that is already connected or duplicated. And that he has actually entered a username

There's a 2 minute gap between the player connection opening and then it closing. What is the player seeing during this process? Does the bar gauge appear and does it move?

Also check the things mentioned above - but the best next step is to get more details from the players side.

I think the player username is the most likely culprit.
Either no username or a duplicate...
