View Full Version : Create New Campaign Question (Technical Issue)

Hello,

When I create a new campaign from the "Title Screen" of Fantasy Grounds, after I generate the campaign, there are no buttons on the right side of the screen.
No combat tracker, notes, npcs, etc.

How do I fix this?

Trying to run 5E
The only extension (that I am aware of) is Base extension v1.2

DOE Base Extension v1.2
The Base Extension for all Dulux-Oz Extensions (DOEs). Includes an Alternate ColourGizmo allowing the use of Hexadecimal Colour Codes to set a User's Dice Colours.
For Fantasy Grounds v3.1.7+, the CoreRPG Ruleset and selected child Rulesets.

There are actually three extensions in your list... however Im not sure any of them should cause this issue.
Can you load without ANY extensions.

Can you also delete 5e.pak and CreRPG.pak and if you have any unpacked copies in your /rulesets folder please delete or rename.

Do you have the Core ruleset in there twice or is that a typo?

DOE Base Extension v1.2 is very old. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?27158-DOE-Base-Extension

Remember - you must keep any extensions you use up to date. It is up to you to do this - community extensions do not auto update.

You need to re-run teh updater after doing that.
The issue is most likely the out of date DOE extension.
You dont need DOE: Base unless you are loading other DOE:'s either....

If you're not sure what they do then don't load any of them until you've looked at the relevant thread for each extension and decided if you want to run them or not. At this point don't bother with them - get your campaign working properly first.

For now, remove the DOE: Base extension as this is 1) Very out of date, and 2) only needed if you're running one of the DOE top-level extensions.

Strong recommendation for anyone reading this: Do not enable extensions unless you're sure what they do, they are up-to-date and compatible with the FG version you're running and you actually want to use the functionality they provide.

I didnt post any extensions.
If you are referring to my signature - they are just projects that I am or have worked on.
Most of them should have reasonable explanations of what they do on the target pages.
