Getting Text from older Ruleset to a newer Ruleset

I have quite a bit of older mods, made with early versions of some community rulesets.
Whats the best way to bring the text from an old mod and get it to a new ruleset?

I am currently opening both rulesets and copying between them, but is there a better way?
Stat Blocks, Images and to some degree formatting I know will not correctly convert, but not having to re-type walls of text would be helpful.

Have you tried changing the Ruleset tag and seeing what you can get from them opening them into the new ruleset? Or tried to open them in the old ruleset and cut and paste?
