View Full Version : Streaming a player-friendly version of the map

My end goal is to be able to allow players to follow a stream without spoiling the map. Does anyone do this?

I was thinking of setting up a second FG instance, and using that as the streaming map, but managing that feels difficult. I need more screen real estate, and I have one more thing to think about. Then I thought I could just make an invisible player for that instance, and when I click on that player in the combat log it will auto-center the second instance.

The problem is that I can't make an invisible player icon. I also can't give control of an NPC to a player.

Any brilliant ideas on how I could do this?

You can right click on the shared map and Sync Client View and that will drag everyones voew back to where yours is.

I also can't give control of an NPC to a player.

Make the NPC green in the Combat Tracker and the players can do everything with it except pass the NPC's turn (though they will be able to see all of its stats as well).
