I was updating a player character and noticed this weird "bonus" on fort save that I have never seen before. The save should be 3. I have cleared all effects and checked all the other characters in that game, but no one else has it. I have never seen this notation before. What is causing it and how do I make it go away? I have restarted several times and removed all extensions but it didn't help.

See "Temporary Modifiers" in the Number Field entry here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/The_Basics#Number_Fields

Use CTRL+mousewheel to change the temporary modifier.

use ctrl+scrollwheel over the field to increase/decrease the bonus.

Wow, thanks, that fixed it. One of us must have accidentally ctrl-clicked and didn't notice.

I am getting familiar with the PF rule set so that is good to know. Thanks

I am getting familiar with the PF rule set...
It's not something unique to the PF ruleset. There are fields in many rulesets that are set to have temporary modifier functionality. you can tell them with the little plus icon in the corner of the field. For example: there's a bunch on the "Main" tab of the 5E PC sheet (AC, Init, Speed, All of the saves).
