Santa isn't a creature. He's not real. He's a version of the phantasmal killer spell used against children to scare them into being good. He knows if you've been naughty. He can get into your home even when you lock the doors. He carries a bag large enough to fit several children. If you've been bad, he turns your presents into coal causing you to die slowly of black lung.
