Question how to interpret Thunderwave spell is the Cube Centered on the caster so that they occupy the center square or can the align it how they wish as long as it remains in contact with them along a side are corner.

If you don't want to delve into the thread, the answer is that it is a 15' cube you can move around you as you please (while remaining in contact with you, as per its range). Think of it as a cube shaped cone.
