Originally had the SRD for 5e, but thought for completeness sake, I'd purchase the Core 5e PHB from the store.
To be pretty honest, feels like a bit of a rip off to pay 29.99 for a few additions that are covered in the SRD anyway.

Waste of money, to be frank.
Or am I missing something?

Ah well.

The bottom of this page goes into some of the differences between the SRD and the PHB.

If you still feel that it's not worth the difference, please send a note to [email protected] to request a refund. We offer 30-day refunds on all our web store purchases. (If Steam purchase, they have different guidelines (play time, etc.), and you should check their refund process.)

There is a VAST difference between the SRD documents and the PHB. The SRD contains 1 feat whereas the PHB contains all of them, the SRD contains 1 Background whereas the PHB contains all of them, the SRD contains one archetype for each class whereas the PHB contains all of them, the races in the SRD do not contain all of the subraces whereas the PHB contains all of them, the SRD contains only a few tables but the PHB contains all of them, the SRD has zero artwork whereas the PHB contains all of it. The reference section of the SRD does not contain all of the rules for and options for character development whereas the PHB contains all of it.

The SRD is a very much cut down document from the PHB and using only the SRD cuts down dramatically the availability of character creation options.

Do make sure you have also actually loaded the PHB and not just bought it...
