So I'm moving my FG to a virtual machine using Oracle Virtual Box. How do I need to configure the VM network adapter, on the host and/or client so that I can get port forwarding to work?

FG gives me a internal IP something like 10.0.2.x and and my known/regular external IP. But of course port forwarding to the 10.0.2 doesn't work (since that is internal to the host).

Can I Bridge or NAT or something in the VM network settings to get a valid internal network (router) IP?

There should be some options to allow your VM to get an IP on the LAN.

That's what I thought, but I couldn't get it to work. Here's the options:

I've tried both NAT and Bridged, but neither seemed to work. Though not sure if I need to do a reboot or anything else to get it to work.

I think you need t be in Bridged mode.

Use bridged mode to give you a unique IP address on your LAN.
