Is there a way lets say I buy The Lost Library of Thoth and that is for 5e. But lets say I want to open it up in savage worlds for viewing and to use the notes in my savage worlds campaign. is something like this possible?

Yes, by creating your own version of the SW ruleset. But note that most everything will be corrupt or throw errors because content for 5E has different fields and metadata than Savage Worlds. There is a post around somewhere describing how to do this. But I don't know what to search for.

Hmm... maybe we need some universal modules :D

You can create a module for CoreRPG that (I think) can be opened in any of the child rulesets (like SW, 5E and PF), but they really could only have story entries.

Things like items, NPCs, encounters, etc are very different between the rulesets, i.e. they have different fields (skills, save types, defense types). And then even when they have the same fields (like PF and 5E) the values are not equivalent, i.e. a creature with AC20 in PF might only have AC17 in 5E.

Actually modules created in and exported from CoreRPG will only show for CoreRPG. You will still need to edit the module (or ruleset) to get it to show.

The following things will probably be universal (for CoreRPG based rulesets at least) or close to it:
Story
Reference Manual
Images
NPC - Names and description only
Items - Names and description only

So you could probably make a good generic reference manual and tag all the rulesets in it.... but no store module will do this.

For me that would really be all I needed I converted all the monsters from pathfinders bestiary 1,2,3,4 into savage worlds and then loaded them into a module so I can use those.
