LFP Tomb of Annihilation- New DM Once Weekly 8:00PM EST (UTC -4)

For the past several days, the talk of the streets and taverns has all been about the so-called death curse: a wasting disease afflicting everyone who's ever been raised from the dead. Victims grow thinner and weaker each day, slowly but steadily sliding toward the death they once denied. When they finally succumb, they can't be raised-and neither can anyone else, regardless of whether they've ever received that miracle in the past. Temples and scholars of divine magic are at a loss to explain a curse that has affected the entire region, and possibly the entire world.

Create a level 1 character using the PHB only please and submit it in the comments below. I will be trying to run this starting on November 1st, but we will see how it goes.

Flint's dad was an archaeologist for the Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors in Waterdeep. Leaving for months sometimes years at a time during his childhood he would always return with stories of adventure and danger. Flint loved to imagine those far away catacombs, tombs, and ruins. He was diligent in his studies hoping to one day go with his dad. Fate is not always so kind. A few months before Flint's graduation his father returned, but he was not himself. Frantically he gave his son a crystal medallion. He told him to keep it safe and he would return soon so they could leave the city together. His father never returned. Husband to Unitsi. I made the characters in Fantasy Grounds and trying to figure out how to export the characters. Is there a way to do that? If not what format do you wish them in?

Here is our backstory:

Bjarne was born to a wood elven mother and a barbarian shaman. Unitsi is the older wood elven sister to Bjarne. Bjarne and his half sister, Unitsi, were out doing daily chores, hunting and checking the traps for food for the tribe. When they returned they found their small village destroyed by harpies and the village shaman, Bjarne's father dead. They never discovered their mother's remains and feel that she may be out in the world somewhere.

They gathered what few supplies they could salvage from the village for survival and set off to find their mother, if she yet lived, and to regain glory for the tribe. Searching led to Bjarne's coming of age challenge, a great bear that he fought to the death. He claimed the spirit of the bear and follows the bear spirit as his spirit guide. Unitsi found Bjarne badly wounded by the bear and helped him to survive until he could once again journey. Bjarne made a necklace/amulet of the bear's claws that he wears around his neck. Unitsi made a cloak from the Bear's hide. Bjarne changed his name to Bjarne, which is wood elven for Great Bear as his coming of age name.

Unitsi and Bjarne spends their time searching for ways to honor their fallen tribe. Bjarne firmly believes the Great Bear spirit guides his course. The Great Bear Spirit talks to him through signs and portents and looks for signs in things that happen in the world around him. These signs are what guide the two siblings on their adventures.

No, I want to play this character. It's just he got lost to the annals of time (he was my first concept for a character in 5e), but then life happened, and I ended up DMing more than playing. He got put off to the side as other characters were created to fit the groups when I was able to play. Now I have a chance to shake the dust off him and see what will become of him.

Here is Fryk backstory

Fryk was the youngest of 3 siblings, 2 sisters, and a brother, The Kronwall’s being a respected and prestige’s name allowed the Kronwall children Access to the best schools available at the time, the eldest brother Cliyn, got into soldiering and eventually made a captain and his sisters, Tamara, and Ceeline both went into politics, Tamara becoming an ambassador, and Ceeline married a council member-to-be and assisted him. Fryk chose a different path and joined the order of Lathander he did moderately well in his studies and very well in combat he was quickly recruited by The order of the Aster as a healer during his first year he was deployed to help set up an outpost of Lathander at the base of the spine of the world mountain range, while on a standard patrol his platoon was ambushed by an large party of Orcs resulting in the deaths of his entire platoon left for dead he was found by a search party who took him back to the outpost where he was nursed back to health after he had fully recovered he was sent back to waterdeep to await further orders.

So going over the party again I see a bunch of melee and ranged, I decided to switch it up to a Halfling Bard. Going for a ranged, controller feel.

Background:
Drexx is from the halfling village of Greenway. Playing music from an early age in life, his favored musical instrument is a lute made from red oak nicknamed Garnet. Living in Greenway was good, not many problems. Humans and Elves took care of the dangerous threats in the land with much success. The Mayor of Greenway was a past adventurer, along with his wife. They have been to many places and see many things. But there was a problem, the Mayors wife had been killed on their last adventure. After much gold, dedication and fast response, the Mayor was able to resurrect her. Bringing her back from the dead. The sons of the Mayor swear revenge and a few years later they storm off to confront the evil. After that, the Mayors wife started to not feel so well, seemingly deteriorating in health. Word was there was some sort of curse affecting people that have been raised from the dead, called the Death Curse. And it was in an area named Chult that no one from the village has ever heard of the place. The Mayor quickly posted flyers seeking help. Drexx found this flyer and accepted the job. He was told to go to Baldur's Gate and meet a wizard by the name of Syndra Silvane. She would help him get to Chult with other Adventurers.

Drexx lived a mostly normal life before setting of to Adventure. He had a very large family, 7 Sisters and 9 Brothers. Would of been 10 Brother but Drexx being the oldest of all the siblings was supposed to be watching Durion while he was at play. Drexx fell asleep and Durion fell down a well and was never found. His younger brothers death haunts him in his sleep. He tries to cover up his feelings with jokes, music and laughter.

Once I was a promising sage studying historic scripts and learning ancient secrets of the history of the world. While studying ancient gods I learned of a script that contains a ritual to summon an old god to this plane. Upon learning this secret I took the book containing the ritual and put it in a place that only I would know to look. The sages learned of my removal of the book and told me to return the book. I refused telling them what it contains. They scoffed at my statement and removed me from the Sage's Guild. The word spread of my crazy accusations and my entire work as an academic had been completely discredited. With nowhere to go I was taken in by the disavowed and ruffians of the street. I took to the life of a vagabond rather well and have made it my life's work to make sure my secret stays safe and to find a way to destroy the book that I have kept hidden over the years.

click on port forwarding
click on add service
input the information for the device that you wish to connect it to this information can be found under the connected devices (again xfinity is on the left side)

I have been running tabletop for a long time, but I am still trying to learn FG, so you'll have to bear with me on that. I'd be willing on most Wednesdays, except during finals or major tests. Holidays will be up for negotiation (Day before Thanksgiving is a nogo for me, I'll be out of town with family). Ragnvald's mother is frim the barbarian tribes of Icewind Dale. In her late teens, she was in Ten Towns as a servant with a diplomatic mission from the tribes. She met a young elf named Brues, and fell in love. Due to the prejudice of the tribes, the relationship was short lived, and Brues barely escaped with his life, after a severe beating. A few months later it wad discovered that she was pregnant, and she was exiled in disgrace. She made her way to Luskan, where she found employment at the Cutlass Tavern in Luskan.

Ragnvald grew up in the Cutlass, surrounded by musicians, entertainers, thieves and pirates. This left indelible marks on his psyche and personality.

Agent Chaos - applying directly onto games is definitely the best way to find a game but you are best starting with games that are less than a week old and probably not going back further than a month. Necroing game posts that are 1 and 2 years old is not likely to be effective.
