This is a seprate thread for Starfinder Game Announcements.

This thread is where GMs should post new game links for Starfinder Society Organized Play games - preferably after they have created a Gamecalendar entry and a game discussion thread.

Fantasy Grounds forums allows users to "subscribe" to threads and receive email updates (as long as you have enabled these in your profile). So, in order to receive an email when a new game is posted subscribe to this thread! To subscribe: above the first post on a page, on the right-hand side, is a pull-down menu called "Thread Tools" of which the third option is Subscribe to this Thread. You must subscribe separately to this thread if you wish to get Starfinder game announcements.

GMs - please make sure you post an announcement about your game in this thread - with links to an already created Gamecalendar entry and a game discussion thread.

*** Please do not do game discussions in this thread - please keep it for game announcements only. Discussions should be carried out in the game specific thread thread created by the GM. ***

1-02 Fugitive on the Red Planet

WED 25OCT17 @ 330PM PDT

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-4.

Theft cannot be tolerated, especially when the culprit is a former Starfinder! The PCs travel to the red world of Akiton, hot on the heels of a deserting Starfinder who stole a magical relic from the vaults of the Lorespire Complex. Things get complicated when they discover what should be a dreary town in Akiton's wastelands is now positively jubilant. Could this revelry, not to mention the re-opening of town's formerly defunct mining operations, be related to the wayward Starfinder?

Winner of the poll! Sign up and come play if you missed out on 1-02! (Next week is likely AP 2, Temple of the Twelve.)

Temple of the Twelve (Dead Suns 2)

Welcome to the Jungle

Now members of the Starfinder Society and piloting their very own ship, the heroes head to the planet Castrovel, home of some of the best universities in the Pact Worlds, to research the clues they found on the mysterious asteroid called the Drift Rock. On Castrovel, the adventurers' findings point them toward an ancient elven temple-city called the Temple of the Twelve, lost deep within Castrovel's teeming wilderness. But in addition to the dangerous flora and fauna of the jungle, the heroes must contend with two other factions—the exiled Corpse Fleet of Eox and the Cult of the Devourer—who are also interested in the asteroid's secrets and have their own plans for the ancient alien technology behind it, if they can find it first!

***

We had a good time playing AP1, so we're heading onward with AP2!

Characters start the adventure at level 3, which is where the AP1 characters left off. Everything you have from AP 1 carries over (doesn't matter which group you played with if anyone from Monday finds Wednesday working better for them), and I'll work with anyone coming in fresh to get you an appropriate start.

This is NOT being run for SFS characters, but you WILL get a Chronicle sheet at the end to apply to one of your characters (levels 3-4)!

First session is tentatively Wednesday, November 1 at 3:30PM. I'll finalize plans (1st vs 8th for kickoff) by this weekend. Game is expected to run three consecutive Wednesdays (though Thanksgiving may push that off a week, depending on when we kick off...)

I have room for at least 1 more player to play in the Monday session. Characters start the adventure at level 3, which is where the AP1 characters left off. Everything you have from AP 1 carries over (doesn't matter which group you played with if anyone from Monday finds Wednesday working better for them), and we'll work with anyone coming in fresh to get you an appropriate start.

This is NOT being run for SFS characters, but you WILL get a Chronicle sheet at the end to apply to one of your Society characters (levels 3-4)! ...or ignore the chronicle completely if Society play isn't your thing. You do not need to have played AP 1 to play in this game.

First session is Monday, October 30 at 6:30PM EST. Game is expected to run three Mondays (but not Nov 6)

Same scenario as the last posted game due to it being cancelled because of too few players.
If necessary, I would be open to another scenario instead if there is overwhelming demand for it and it would be suitable to new players.
Start time might be shifted one hour back if there are West Coast players.

FG Con:

One game on Friday 12th 7 PM GMT (scenario voting here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?45634)), more suitable for new players.

One game on Saturday 13th 7 AM GMT (scenario voting here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?45635)), more suitable for existing players.

Backup time slot in case there is not enough interest would be Sunday 1 PM GMT (I didn't want to "hog" one of the best slots in case another SF GM wants to use it). I would run a Subtier 3-4 scenario if there would be enough players already at level 3.

Although the Society was unaware of what existed within the false moon Salvation's End when it obtained exploration rights, Starfinders have since identified a vast, uncharted megacomplex within. The Society's ready to launch its first major expedition into the interior, yet there is one slight complication: in order to fund its initial survey missions, the Society accepted a grant that requires this first mission be televised by an Eoxian reality show. What is already be a momentous mission for the Society is only exacerbated by the mandatory presence of an unliving camera crew—not to mention the interference of the live studio audience in orbit! Can the PCs uncover the secrets of Salvation's End while upholding the Society's publicity deal (perhaps becoming celebrities in the process)?

Content in Live Exploration Extreme! is a continuation of the Starfinder Society special, Starfinder Society #1–00: Claim to Salvation.

Note that a starting date half an hour sooner or later would also be possible.

Just to be on the safe side, please schedule around 4 1/2 instead of the usual 4 hours for the game.

Probably still subtier 1-2, next week might be subtier 3-4 though.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–4.

A vault opens inside the mysterious false moon of Salvation's End, and the Starfinder Society sends in a team of agents to investigate. Although it has discerned little about the vault"s interior, the Society has identified a powerful energy signature near the vault's center. Several factions within the vault clash for control of the area. If the PCs are to succeed at their mission, they'll need to choose a side.

Content in Duskmire Accord 9 is a continuation of the Starfinder Society special, Starfinder Society #1-00: Claim to Salvation and Starfinder Society #1-09: Live Exploration Extreme!; however, playing those previous scenarios is not required.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

A routine business deal goes awry when a spiteful drow noble seizes a shipment of weapons destined for the Starfinder Society. The PCs are sent to the gloomy world of Apostae to retrieve the stolen arms. Granted 24-hours of diplomatic immunity for any actions taken against the thief, the PCs strike at the rebellious drow noble and retrieve the shipment. The week after there'll be a Tier 1-4 (#1-12: Ashes of Discovery?) on SAT or SUN for new and old level 1 players. Possibly one more Tier 1-4 (#1-16: Dreaming of the Future?) after that, then most likely a holiday break.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

In order to retrieve valuable resources necessary to repair the Wayfinders' flagship, the PCs follow-up on another team's investigative mission to a long-abandoned Starfinder Society lodge on a world in the Vast. I apologize for the late notice but with the holidays around the corner, it is getting increasingly difficult to block off uninterrupted time. This will probably also be the last scenario I will run this year.

I decided in favor of #1-14: Star Sugar Heartlove!!! as from what I've read, it comes highly recommended.

Tier 3-6. Subtier probably 3-4.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours (maybe a little bit longer) so we have time for shenanigans.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

It's finally here; the sugar-pop band sensation, Strawberry Machine Cake, is starting its Pact Worlds tour. Thanks to the Exo-Guardians' leader, Zigvigix, the PCs and Historia-7 have tickets to attend the holo-concert event of the year. As Zigvigix hopes to celebrate and mourn friends lost in the Scoured Stars, Historia-7 enlists the PCs to track down an attendee associated with a conspiracy against the Society. When a stunning revelation endangers the concert, it falls to the PCs to step in and save one of the most hotly anticipated concerts in Pact Worlds history.

Starfinder Society 1-01 The Commencement

When: December 30 12:00 - 4,4:30 MDT

New Players welcome

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-2.

All Starfinders complete their training by conferring with Guidance—a network of uploaded personalities embodying paragons from the Starfinder Society's history. Before receiving the blessing of Guidance, the PCs must meet with and assist critical missions on behalf of key leaders of the Society's leading factions. With the events of the Scoured Stars Incident still fresh in everyone's memory, there's plenty that needs doing to set the Society back on track.

The Commencement is a replayable scenario designed to help introduce players to the factions of the Starfinder Society and areas of importance on Absalom Station.

About the scenario:

All Hands on Deck!

Don't worry, the skittermanders are here to help!

When a routine salvage operation deep in the Vast goes awry, the skittermanders Dakoyo, Gazigaz, Nako, and Quonx must [save the day].

Skitter Shot is an adventure for four skittermander characters who are eager to help those in need and explore a seemingly abandoned starship, written for the wildly popular Starfinder Roleplaying Game.

"To receive Starfinder Society credit for playing through Skitter Shot, players must use the pregenerated skittermanders found on pages 12–15 of the adventure [or here (http://paizo.com/include/PZO9500-13-Pregens.zip)]. For a group of more than 4 players, distribute duplicates of these pregenerated characters for play. If a player has a boon allowing her to create a skittermander PC, she may also choose to play that character so long as the PC is 1st- or 2nd-level."

"All players who play the entire module receive the attached Chronicle sheet, which may be applied to any 1st-or 2nd-level PC as if that character had played the module."

"The adventure emphasizes teamwork and roleplaying as the scrappy underlings rise to the occasion and become true heroes!"

I'm pretty sure most players don't have a skittermander boon yet, so that probably means pregens for everyone. The game is balanced for four players but SFS legal for 6 (I wouldn't recommend 7).

Tier 3-6, subtier will depend on the players. I do recommend a somewhat balanced party though. Also bear the name and description of the scenario in mind when discussing party composition. Due to this being a brand new scenario (with little GM discussion so far) it's difficult to tell how tough combat will be, so I can only give the recommendation to not underestimate the combat involved.

SFS #1-21: Yesteryear's Sorrow Sun March 31 @ 1.30 PM GMT

Tier 3-6, subtier will depend on the players. I do recommend a somewhat balanced party though.

Be aware of any summer time changes on Sunday (GMT does not change)! We'll try to figure out a new starting time, this Sunday will however probably simply be 1.30 PM GMT (but could be adjusted slightly for later scenarios based on responses).

Don't expect too much continuity from yesterday's scenario unfortunately.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game, just to be on the safe side. I'd be surprised if it takes more than four hours though.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–6.

The Exo-Guardians' leader, Zigvigix, has been forced by recent events to revaluate the Society's arsenal of weapons. They order a new exploration mission to the irradiated nuclear wasteland world of Elytrio, homeworld of the beetle-like ghibrani species. Far from the homes of the surviving ghibranis, the PCs travel into a missile silo that contributed to the death of a world. What deadly weapons can the PCs find and what further concealed truths are there to uncover about the history of the ghibranis?

Content in Yesteryear's Sorrow is a continuation of the Starfinder Society scenario, Starfinder Society #1-03: Yesteryear's Truth, however, playing this previous scenario is not required.

Interest check FG SFS at Cosmic Crittercon (April 26-28)

Please let me know if there is any interest in FG SFS games at Cosmic Crittercon (April 26-28) in this thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?48918).

We would still use Fantasy Grounds and Discord, however signup would be exclusively over warhorn for this particular event.

Possible time slots would be FR evening GMT (start around 6 PM GMT), SAT evening GMT (start around 6 PM GMT) and SUN afternoon through evening GMT (start around 1 PM GMT, 6 PM GMT).

Possible scenarios are listed in the thread.

There is also a small chance we might be able to run #1-99 The Scoured Stars Invasion tier 1-8 this way (Saturday, Apr 27 6 PM GMT) but it is in no way guaranteed.

Please respond within 2 days so I can make the necessary preparations if necessary.

Please do not respond in this thread but use this one instead (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?48918).

Edit: Unfortunately, it does not look at the moment that the special is likely due to a Catch 22: I could participate if I have a legal copy of the scenario but without con support I can only get a legal copy in June.

SFS #1-24: Siege of Enlightenment SAT April 27 @ 6 PM GMT during Cosmic Crittercon

Tier 1-4, subtier will depend on the players. I do recommend a somewhat balanced party though. Signups only on warhorn (https://warhorn.net/events/cosmic-crittermander-sfs/schedule/sessions/72289c2a-324c-4354-b89e-c2fa4296facb) for this particular scenario due to it being part of a con.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

I usually don't like giving things away about the scenario beforehand but be aware that contrary to the description there will be little diplomacy however a pretty decent amount of combat.

Even though it might say roll20 on some parts of the page, we will use Fantasy Grounds. For audio we'll most likely use the Cosmic Crittermanders Discord (https://discord.gg/EG6kVN).

Make sure to include the class/level of your character as well as a way for me to contact you (if I don't have your contact information already).

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-4.

With tensions rising between two Near Space civilizations, the a host of historical sites are at risk of being caught in the ensuing conflict's crossfire. SFS #1-14: Star Sugar Heartlove!!! Sun May 26 @ 1 PM GMT

Tier 3-6! Subtier will depend on the players.

It is a very unique scenario but I can recommend it.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

If you can only make another time (e.g. 9 AM GMT or 5 PM GMT) please do notify me about that fact and I might be able to reschedule the game.

If we don't have a legal table 48 hours before the game I might decide to cancel it in advance. I might run a tier 1-4 repeatable instead in that case but I can't guarantee it.

Next week probably a tier 1-4 (#1-36 Enter the Ashen Asteroid?), the week after that a tier 5-8 (#1-19 To Conquer the Dragon?).

Content in Star Sugar Heartlove!!! also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Dataphiles and Exo-Guardians faction.

Tier 5-8, subtier will depend on the players.

As this is a relatively high-level game, please schedule around 5 hours for the game, just to be on the safe side.

Note that the game starts a little bit later than usual.

Next week I probably can't run a scenario (but still TBD), the week after however most likely #1-36 Enter the Ashen Asteroid tier 1-4.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5-8.

After much negotiating, the Starfinder Society has reached an accord to work with leaders of the Drakelands and Skyfire Mandate on the world of Triaxus. To commemorate this historic achievement, the Society intends to open a new lodge in the settlement of Cumo. However, a recent enemy intends to disrupt the event, and only the PCs stand between this hidden threat and the Society's newest endeavor.

SFS #1-37: Siege of Civility SUN June 30th @ 5 PM GMT

Be sure to read the information below!

Tier 5-8, subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable sub-tier.

While I usually try to avoid spoilers, you should still be able to have fun. Therefore: If you don't have a character that can be useful in skill challenges you might want to consider taking a pregen for this one. Please note that there currently are no prebuilt level 8 characters, so make sure to tell me in advance if you need one.

I might also be able to offer SAT 29th 6 PM GMT instead but that is still TBD, depending on whether another game happens or not. If you could only/also make SAT feel free to mention it in the game thread.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game, just to be on the safe side.

Note that the game starts a little bit later than usual.

No game next week.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5-8.

The Wayfinders' flagship, the Master of Stars, is almost ready to return to active duty within the Starfinder fleet, however one integral component is missing. In order to gather necessary technological expertise to complete the missing piece, the PCs must join the Wayfinders' faction leader on a diplomatic mission into the heavily militarized Gideron Authority Republic in Near Space. How the PCs comport themselves will determine if the Society can establish peaceful ties and possibly affect the ongoing saga of the brewing conflict between the Authority and the peaceful Marixah Republic.

Content in Siege of Civility also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Wayfinders faction. It also builds on events in Starfinder Society #1-24: Siege of Enlightenment, though playing that scenario is not necessary to enjoy this product.

Next game most likely #1-27 King Xeros of Star Azlant tier 5-8 (the last scenario free of spoilers for #1-99 or #2-00).

Skitters in the Swamp!

The galaxy's favorite skittermanders are back and ready to help—but this time, they're the ones in trouble!

Note that the game is on a SAT!

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game, just to be on the safe side.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5-8.

When a relic dating back to the times of Old Golarion docks in a remote space station, the Azlanti Star Empire takes notice and quickly seizes it. The Starfinder Society dispatches the PCs to stop the Azlanti and reclaim the relic: the ether ship known as the King Xeros. With little time to hamper the Azlanti's upgrades on the strange magical vessel, the PCs must overcome the now functional starship. Only by claiming the King Xeros can the Starfinder Society learn more about its predecessor organization's past.

King Xeros of Star Azlant is a spiritual successor to the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild scenario, Pathfinder Society Scenario #20: King Xeros of Old Azlant. SFS #1-26: Truth of the Seeker SAT August 24th @ 5.30 PM GMT

Due to Malkavian_Andi running SFS #1-32: Acts of Association on SUN August 25th @ 4 PM GMT (repeatable, tier 1-4) (/www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?50547) and aellongm running SFS #1-01: The Commencement on THU August 22nd @ 6 PM GMT (repeatable, tier 1-2) (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?50563), I'm running another high-level scenario this week.

Tier 3-6, subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

As this is a higher tier scenario please be aware that anything can happen, so prepare accordingly: The training wheels are off.

It does contain some (minor) spoilers for #1-99.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

A prominent Starfinder Society leader that was only just rescued from a year of imprisonment has gone into hiding. Brought together to find this leader, the PCs must explore the kasatha colony ship, Idari, for information on where their target has hidden. From the heart of the Pact Worlds to the very edge of a dangerous stellar phenomena, it's up to the PCs to learn the history of the lost leader and return him safely to the Society.

Truth of the Seeker directly follows-up on the events of Starfinder Society #1-99: The Scoured Stars Invasion, though playing the previous scenario is not required.

My game of "Acts of Association" is still in need of players in order to have a legal table.

Even if you don't want to play, please take a few minutes out of your time and post your reasons for not signing up in the game discussion thread, so I can figure out why there's so little interest (and thus in the future avoid obvious mistakes that lead to games not filling).

SFS 1-04 Cries from the drift (AUG 30th 18.00 utc)

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-4.

A missing Starfinder ship's distress signal would have gone unnoticed were it not for a passerby detecting it and selling the information to the Society. The PCs are to travel to the crippled starship, and once aboard, reach the bridge in order to piece together the tragic story of the vessel's lost crew. Only by unraveling the mysteries of the drifting starship can the PCs hope to uncover information critical to the Exo-Guardians future operations.

Content in Cries From the Drift also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Exo-Guardians faction.

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar, stating which character you'd like to play.
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=3587

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). Tier 1-4, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

Probably the tier 5-8 two-parter The Stumbling Society next if we have enough players.

From the Society's ranks, a new First Seeker must be chosen, and several prominent Starfinders have already begun amassing allies. The PCs get introduced to several of the frontrunners to replace the current First Seeker and get a chance to learn what each of them represents for the Society's future.

Four for the First is a stand-alone scenario, but will be part of a global vote to determine the new First Seeker for the Starfinder Society. SFS #2-06: The Stumbling Society, Part 1: Sangoro's Lament SAT October 12th @ 5 PM UTC

I might be able to run it at SAT 1.30 PM instead if I don't have enough players for my Signal of Screams game this week (but I'll only know whether that would be possible in 1-2 days).

Tier 5-8, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game but bear in mind that as a higher-tier scenario it might run a little bit longer.

Part 2 probably in 2 weeks as I know some players won't be available next week.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5–8.

The Exo-Guardians faction once maintained an impressive fortress known as Sangoro's Bulwark. Years ago, mysterious forces assaulted the bulwark, and the location was thought forever lost—until now. The Starfinder Society selects the PCs to launch an initial foray back to the area around Sangoro's Bulwark, in hopes of retrieving a cache of deadly weapons the Exo-Guardians had guarded before the fortress fell. Can the PCs discover the lost weapons before they fall into the wrong hands?

Sangoro's Lament is the first of two adventures in the Stumbling Society series. This adventure is followed by Starfinder Society Scenario #2-08: The Stumbling Society, Part 2: Sangoro's Gifts. These two scenarios are intended to be played in order.

Tier 5-8, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

I can recommend this scenario.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5-8.

Traveling with Zigvigix into the Archives' Cortex at the heart of the Starfinder Society's home, the PCs come face to face with the unexpected truth behind what's happened to Historia-7. Enacting a desperate plan to assist Historia-7, the PCs soon find themselves racing to save both Zigvigix and Historia-7 from a threat that aims to topple the entire Starfinder Society.

Content in The Many Minds of Historia also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Dataphiles and Exo-Guardians factions. It also builds on events in Starfinder Society #1-99: The Scoured Stars Invasion, though playing that scenario is not necessary for this product.

SFS #2-10: Corporate Interests SUN January 5th @ 2 PM UTC

Tier 3-6 (repeatable), the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game (5 quests).

As opposed to earlier quest packs, you only get 1 XP if you complete 4 or 5 quests.

The FG alias will probably still change.

About the scenario:

A series of five Starfinder Quests designed for levels 3–6.

When agents aren't travelling across the galaxy in search of ancient civilizations, the Starfinder Society often sends its agents to showcase their skills with various Pact Worlds corporations. Each of these adventures showcase different roles the Starfinder Society takes in the corporate world. From testing out new firearms and starships, to battling escaped outsiders used as corporate experiments, the PCs have the perfect chance to showcase their skills!

Corporate Interest includes five, 1-hour adventures that involve AbadarCorp, Arabani Arms, Frozen Trove, Resurgent Technologies, and Sanjaval Spaceflight Systems.

To quote the only post in the GM thread: "Well THIS is an interesting one."

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

No game (run by me) next weekend.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–4 (subtiers 1–2 and 3–4).

Over two years ago, the Starfinder Society recovered the reports of a crashed starship that pointed them to several sites of interest. The Society has recently determined the planet is about to undergo a once-in-a-lifetime natural phenomena. The PCs travel to Wealdriad to catalogue the experience, but soon find that other forces have come to monitor the event and that not all of those witnesses are peaceful.

As I had to reschedule Sunday's game: Tier 3-6, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

Content in Yesteryear's Sorrow is a continuation of the Starfinder Society scenario, Starfinder Society Scenario #1-03: Yesteryear's Truth, however, playing this previous scenario is not required.

SFS 1-39: The Herald's War SAT February 22nd @ 2 PM UTC

Tier 7-10, the subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable subtier.

Please schedule around 5 hours for the game.

[The rescheduled SUN tier 1-4 game is still on but currently full.]

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 7-10.

Having claimed the Scoured Stars system at their own, the dreaded and xenophobic jinsuls have declared a war of hostile reclamation against the other surviving species that fled the Scoured Stars long ago.

Led by First Seekers Jadnura and Luwazi Elsebo, the Starfinder Society rallies its fleet in defense of the jinsuls' primary target: the people of the Kreiholm Freehold. As part of the initial counterattack, the PCs find themselves in a key position to strike at the jinsuls' leader, change the course of the war, and set the stage for the final climactic showdown with the jinsuls.

Content in The Herald's War follows up on the events of Starfinder Society #1-99: The Scoured Stars Invasion, though playing the previous scenario is not required. Content in this scenario also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Second Seekers (Jadnura) faction, the Second Seeker (Luwazi Elsebo) faction, and to the ongoing year of the Scoured Stars storyline.
