Recommendations on purchases

As both a player and DM while being somewhat inexperienced I'm wondering about what title I should purchase next for Fantasy Grounds. I currently own the PHB, the DMG and LMoP. I'm kinda leaning toward the MM, but with everything out there I thought I might pick some brains before. Thanks for any input.

Monster Manual - no doubt at all, that's the next one you should get :)

Depends on whether you tend to run premade adventures or to customize/build your own. If you do mostly premade adventures, I would just get the next adventure you want to run, since they come with all the creatures already built. If you tend to customize your adventures, or create your own, then the MM is a good purchase.

As Moon suggests, it depends on what you want to do. Either
- the next adventure you want to run
- if you create your own adventures, then you can't go wrong with the MM. But you can also go with Volo's for a wider selection of creatures (since the MM has some repetition with the SRD). You can also look at third party creature books like Tomb of Beasts though I don't have any of those.
- If you are just a player, then I would suggest you consider gifting your GM a token or map pack, as the GM is the one who needs most of the content.
