Okay, next n00b question!!!

Say I want to put a note on a player's character. Say, I dunno, one of my players is playing a Paladin and he does something that might break his oath, but I am undecided on it as a GM, but I want to leave a note on his character that no one but me, the GM, can see, so I can remember to contemplate his bad decision later.

Is there any way to attach a GM-note to a PC character sheet that no one else can see?

Hi GMSean,

Not on the character sheet, no. What I do is have a Note entry (not shared) for each of my players and I record that stuff there.

On some records there is the ability to put GM notes - the DOE Extensions all have this functionality where it makes sense to have it - but not on the character sheets AFAIK.

Cheers

You could create an effect in the effects dialog. Say 'Paladin oath broken?' and then set it to invisible and then drag it onto the Paladin. You as DM will see the effect on the CT but the player won't.

This is another idea that you might want to consider adding to the Wishlist (https://fg2app.idea.informer.com/). Though myself I would want a central repository for all GM related notes on the various characters (rather than having to go to each character to see my hidden notes about them).
