With permission from Doug at Smiteworks, and Miles Kantir I am reposting the announcement made on Savage Mojo’s Suzerain page on Facebook.
With the Legends Awaken Initiative, we want to do more with gaming than just build great campaigns in living realms where you can influence how our universe changes.
From personal experience, we know how much roleplaying can be a positive benefit in gamers’ and developers' lives. Gamers with physical or mental disabilities, as well as those suffering from social isolation or disadvantage, can equally benefit from a positive gaming experience. We've seen it time and again, and we're making this a central part of what Savage Mojo offers - we will always strive to make Legends Awaken a safe haven for everyone, an inclusive and welcoming experience. To all of you who’ve already been hanging out, we’re glad you’re here. Feel free to reach out to us in this post or privately though message and tell us what you seek in your gaming and community. Or you can email me at:
[email protected] That works too.

As a supporter of Fantasy Grounds I wish to add this. VTT’s are not an optional tool in such an initiative. For too many the only access to social activities is online gaming. I have only ever played on Fantasy Grounds, a few sessions on one of those other VTT’s(not impressed). Part of this initiative has been a few of us getting the Savage Mojo team trained on Fantasy Grounds so they can expand their outreach to others like us who struggle with limitations in access. (3 games this FG-Con came out of this initiative, by spring we hope it will be many more.) Utilizing Fantasy Grounds as the go to VTT we hope this initiative will not only bring more games to long time gamers, but start bringing in new players, who for many reasons never had the opportunity to discover RPG’s and the amazing potential for them in overall well-being.
I have never made a secret of my belief in the power of RPG’s as a therapeutic tool. In doing the module conversions of Savage Mojo Suzerain campaign I stumbled into a group of likeminded people, and I am happy to support their initiative (for now that is limited to training GM’s on FG and getting as much of the Savage Mojo material available on Fantasy Grounds as fast as we can).
So if you have Facebook go by and check the links out. Clyde is working to get this on all of their social media sites and we’ll update as that happens.

Hey Ellspeth, sounds interesting, but I have to admit I'm a bit dense and don't quite understand what Save Mojo / Legends Awaken is (and I suspect I'm not alone).
This is what I think it is, can you please clarify (cause I'm sure I've got something inaccurate!);
- A living campaign (i.e. where the feedback from multiple play groups define the future paths of the campaign for all groups)
- A socially open group that insures disabled gamers can participate (but not limited to the disabled)
- Using Savage Worlds ruleset?
- High fantasy setting?
- Uses FG as the VTT of choice
Also, is there a published or distributed campaign guide or other resources?

Heya Lord Entrails, the first two you understand as well as I do, but Clyde who is the designated Suzerain Guide can probably be more helpful. For number two, the Suzerain Continuum I believe has been published for both Pathfinder and Savage Worlds, but as of now only the Savage Worlds version is available Fantasy Grounds. Most of Savage Mojo's published material is part of the Suzerain rules, and the initiative is centered around these. I have completed five for Fantasy Grounds since July, the one I am running for FG-Con, Set Rising I will have finished about the time of FG-Con. So the high fantasy setting is yes, though over time the goal is to broaden to other settings. And yes, those involved in the project support Fantasy Grounds as the VTT of choice, and we are actively training several Savage Mojo people in the project on GM'ing on FG. Clyde is offering his first game on FG for FG-Con in fact, we have several others planning to follow suit well before the next one.
This however is a project we would like to see expand. Everyone of us appreciate RPG's as a hobby, but this project involves expanding the view and hence the players who see it as so much more. It may be over the top here, but I personally see RPG's having the potential for impacting our society in may positive ways, and with VTT's (for me there can be only one) the opportunity to develop those potentials, to reach those who were never a part of it before, has multiplied exponentially.
This is the beginning stage, where it goes after this, well maybe the dice gods will decide. :)

Hey there, oh Lord of Entrails. You have the right idea on all those points, for sure. To elaborate on the "fantasy setting" thing a little, Suzerain is a setting which links the infinite realms of the universe together, so you can really play in any setting you like or even travel between them. Fantasy, science fiction, horror, historical, alternate reality... it's all a part of Suzerain. The published fantasy realms of Starfall and Relic are perhaps the most well known (see our Shaintar and Caladon Falls books at savagemojo.com (https://savagemojo.com/store/index.cfm?catID=3) for more on those) but you can also get an overview of the fascinating universe that is Suzerain in the wiki too (https://savagemojo.com/suzewiki/index.cfm?page=Suzerain).

Thanks Ellspeth and Miles. Also, welcome to the forum Miles :) Those links help. The facebook link earlier kind of seemed like you already had to know what was going on in order to "get it" :)

Thanks for the welcome. And yeah, the Facebook posts are mostly aimed at people who've been following us already, so it's completely fair for you to ask questions because we should be going back to basics a bit too for people who haven't been a part of Suzerain over the years. I'm sure Clyde will put some of those links on Facebook too for people who are visiting for the first time :-)

Thanks for adding clarity here Miles. I had noted my main contribution so far has been working to get as many of the Suzerain Continuum campaigns into modules as fast as I can, and working with people like Clyde to get them up to speed on Fantasy Grounds. And bringing Savage Mojo people together with Fantasy Grounds players and GM's to facilitate the rest. However my enthusiasm for RPG's positive benefits and potential to open up the hobby to people like myself, with disabilities have often forced us to limit our participation in so many aspects of life, I tend to get ahead of myself.

We had such a positive result for all 3 Savage Mojo Suzerain setting games at FG-Con plans are all ready being made for FG-Daze and the next FG-Con to try to offer even more.
Also now extending the discussions about FG, FG-Con and FG-Daze to the Savage Mojo insider blogs.

Heya Nylanfs, since FG-Con we all paused to catch our breath, though we are discussing ways to open the discussion up and bring it to those who may not all ready be playing RPG's.
When I first started playing RPG's I did some research on whether or not RPG's were all ready being utilized specifically as a therapeutic or educational tool. Didn't find anything that established that one way or another but I ran across this paper and saved the link. One of the things that drew me in and kept me in despite some bad experiences was the awareness of this potential and the dream? that I could be a part of expanding the awareness that though this is an awesome hobby/leisure activity, it can be sooooo much more.

Thanks for all those excellent links Lord Entrails, I will pass them on to the team. Amazing how much more this is recognized in just the past two years from the various dates on the articles.
Theater training included all of this information, but as applied to live acting/role-playing, and the therapeutic origins of theater.

In earlier posts I mentioned that Savage Mojo’s participation in the last FG-Con was just the first of what hopefully will become many events in support of this initiative, but more importantly providing those with limitations the opportunity to be involved in beneficial social activities and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of role-playing.
While the team is preparing for the next FG-Daze and FG-Con all ready, several of us also plan to run at least a few sessions through the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
For those struggling with social isolation for any reason the holidays can be especially difficult, at the same time a lot of regular games go on hold because GM’s are busy with their own holiday preparations. So we are making a conscious effort to help those we can reach fill some of that void. In the next week or two watch the one shot thread on the forums for the particular games being offered, feel free to sign up and please encourage anyone you know who may be struggling to find games, or groups they feel comfortable with to do so as well.
And as always for details, further info, suggestions or offers of help contact Clyde @

Each month a little more progress towards the overarching goals of this group. Clyde and I both have games scheduled over the coming holiday weekend, still a few seats available. I am particularly pleased, in this game I am welcoming back a friend to Fantasy Grounds and RPG's after he stopped nearly 3 years ago, and like so many of us, can really gain from the many positive benefits of playing RPG's. (Actually he has all ready played a couple of sessions of Trail of Cthulu that I talked a GM into as part of the persuasion package). This will be the first time he has sat through a game I have run, and I know the community will help create a positive experience for him this time around.
And we are all ready planning the Christmas one shots.

I haven't updated here for a while, but I am going to start catching up now. The Savage Mojo team has been working hard in the background, laying the groundwork for all future plans. Since I last posted we have made some great progress.
First, Caladon Falls in the Suzerain was released for Fantasy Grounds yesterday. In the coming week the last 3 will be releasing as well. With these, all of the Suzerain Continuum settings published to date by Savage Mojo will be on Fantasy Grounds. It was important to get these done first, to persuade people to try on Fantasy Grounds the material had to be ready first.
Also over the next month you will see a free modules in the store, one for every setting on the Suzerain Continuum. These include the free one sheets and pre-gens that Savage Mojo has published to give you an opportunity to test run the advanced campaigns for free.
Clyde and I have both been running one shots fro FG-Con, FG-Daze and through the holidays. Savage Mojo has created a dedicated thread on their forums exclusively for session reports of games using Suzerain settings and Fantasy Grounds.
https://savagemojo.com/forums/singleThread.cfm?tID=3168.
Clyde has also been over at the FG Academy on Discord working with the people over there. Now that I have finished the modules, and Gunbunnyfufu has updated the Suzerain extension, we are working to move to the next phase.
In between the big events of FG-Con and FG-Daze we have worked out scheduling games on a regular basis. By the end of this month I will be posting Wednesday night Savage Suzerain sessions, Clyde will be running early afternoons on Saturdays, well morning to him out there on the left coast.
I will be updating here now more regularly, and we are still working on training additional GM's to run Suzerain products on Fantasy Grounds.
Most important to me though was bringing back a friend as a player who had left the games for a couple of years, but is a member of our target group, people struggling with disabilities and social isolation.

I am super happy the last 4 Savage Suzerain settings from Savage Mojo have been released on Fantasy Grounds. So now all things Suzerain can be played on our favorite VTT ready to go. This was a big project for me, and I really want to thank all the guys at Smiteworks for their patience and support while I worked my way through the learning curve, and especially Ikael, without his genius I could have done none of this. And James, thank you for being a perfectionist and challenging me to do the best I could.
And finally, the team at Savage Mojo, Miles M. Kantir and Clyde Clark for their feedback, discussions, encouragement and acceptance in helping me keep these modules as true to the published material as possible while integrating with the fantastic automation on Fantasy Grounds. We worked together on stuff like deciding how best to create the telesma in the modules (they are there as PC allies).
A few free modules to finish up, and I will be focusing on running games as part of the Legends Awaken initiative, and returning to writing, though whether for games or for stage is yet to be seen.

Following on from the discussion above...
A Call To Arms
The Legends Awaken initiative (https://www.facebook.com/groups/393305980789503/) is a new way for you to enjoy being part of a shared gaming experience. Want to be a part of some amazing gaming? Savage Mojo (https://savagemojo.com/) is giving out free Fantasy Grounds modules for GMs who are willing to run games, and we're happy to provide friendly support and guidance along the way.
At Savage Mojo we've been hard at work, with huge thanks to Ellspeth for her efforts in converting material from PDF to Fantasy Grounds. We've taken all the books for the award-winning Suzerain setting (https://savagemojo.com/suzewiki/index.cfm?page=Suzerain) and have been making it available for FG adventuring. It was quite the adventure in its own right!
Now that's largely done, we'd like to invite you, the community, to enjoy what we've created, to become part of creating the next generation of world lore through your own gaming sessions. Ellspeth has graciously agreed to be a welcoming and friendly face of our Legends Awake Initiative alongside Clyde, the Suzerain Guide.
What do you need to do to score free loot?
Let us know you want to play in games. Ellspeth and Clyde will happily tell you more about the Suzerain universe and show you a bunch of pre-gen material which can get you into it. If you're willing to GM a game at the up-coming FG-Con ( www.fg-con.com), or set up a gaming group to play outside of that, we'll give you the full Gamemasters Edition of Savage Suzerain for free. On the house. With our compliments.
It's as simple as that. Say hi, enjoy gaming, and get goodies.

And now I'll chime in, this is a great offer and one I am happy supports Fantasy Grounds AND Savage Mojo, two awesome companies with warm and supportive teams. We will not only get you the comp module for Suzerain, if you need help we can run a one shot to allow you to see how it works in game, I run a Wednesday night Noir Knights if you want to see Suzerain rules in action. If you want some of the intro material to run that hasn't yet been released (all the main modules are done, we have about 6 more small intro ones to complete) I will help you build what you need for FG-Con. If you find you need something we haven't mentioned just ask.
We have all ready given away one module, and Savage Mojo is committed to an ever increasing presence at FG-Con and on Fantasy Grounds.
Happy Suzeraining!

I'm considering it Elspeth. Been running a regular 5e campaign for old friends Weds nights (or I'd be in your Weds night game), so maybe I could manage a SW game as a DM. Got to see if my schedule will allow. I've never run a 1 shot either, so the time limited thing scares me a little. :)

Running One Shots is definitely different.
Here are a few things to consider -
Start the session in the action. No recruiting PCs to your cause or whatever - start them in a fight or other encounter that lets them know they are already committed.
You will want no more than 4 combat scenes unless it is a very combat oriented scenario.
Keep the party somewhat bloodied and make sure that the first two (or three) encounters use up a good amount of the parties spells etc so that the last scene is a real challenge!
Its ok if characters die in a one shot - but best if they dont die until the last combat scene.
Its good to have a twist or a sting in the tail.
Set the session length at 30mins longer than you think it will take including introductions and character selection.
So a short session (approx 2hours of play) call it 3 hours and a more standard 3hour session call it 4.
Dont run overtime at a Con because people often have other sessions to get to.
One shots are perfect for running something a little different, a little wacky, something niche, something that doesnt have as much camapign potential.
You see things like Scooby Doo or the A Team etc.
They are also good to test that story idea you have had in the back of your mind since the third time you ever played an RPG sometime last century...
They are short sessions, with no ongoing commitment - just have some fun with it.

Just let me know Sammage, and I'll do what I can to help. If you want to try a test run of anything before FG-Con let me know I expect we can scare up a few players to practice. Do note to this offer isn't limited to FG-Con though of course we would like to have as many games running there as possible, and the commitment is a little different if you can't make FG-Con. The free material is coming available on FG now, Noir Knights and Set Rising are all ready there, Clockwork Dreams should be out this week or so. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.xcp?id=SMLSWFGNKF. Go ahead and grab them and look them over.
And we sure could have used a ruizologist with the Wednesday party, they all seem a little disturbed now they know what a taximancer actually does. :)

Hello! I have a 'mechanical' question. What is the best way to 'rule/manage' a telesma in FG?
Ellspeth
March 13th, 2018, 13:27
Though I all ready answered this for dragonheels on Facebook, I thought to answer here as well, as so many are still learning about the wonders of the Suzerain Continuum. For those not familiar with Suzerain, telesma are sentient spirits that inhabit a personal item belonging to the character. They have their own edges, all which buff the player, and they advance with the player, gaining one new edge each RANK. They also have a few of their own hindrances, see Rebellious Telesma.
They most frequently inhabit a jewel, but in my current Noir Knights campaign the doctors is in his monocle, the assassins in his custom scope. Though they don't "wake" until Heroic level they are gaining edges at each rank even before that. After consulting with Miles and Clyde, on Fantasy Grounds I build them as PC allies, to keep them separate from the PC's own edges, and to advance the understanding of what they are and how they function. It works extremely well, and for pre-gens that have them in the intro modules I build them as NPC cards that can be dropped on the character sheet under ally.
Some telesma abilities are innate, they require no edge to allow the character to flex the nexus, or to create the masking that allows characters to appear as those around them do. Telesma recognize other telesma, though they only communicate with their owner. These are sentient talismans, which also keep the hero anchored to his own realm and reality. Some telesma edges function as weapons, like the Karma Bomb in Set Rising. Where I could I built these edges as actual weapons, which came back to bite me when even inexperienced players used it on my NPC's.
I am sure there are points I missed here, but I hope this helps.

We are happy that the Savage Mojo team has 6 games scheduled for the upcoming FG-Con. Four have availed themselves of Savage Mojo's free module offer to jump in and give it a whirl. I trust the wonderful community here will support these new GM's because we all know we need MORE GM's.
Savage Mojo has now opened their own Discord server (link here: https://savagemojo.com/forums/singleThread.cfm?tID=3173 ).
Stop by, say hello, at times members of the Savage Mojo creative team hang out there with us to answer our Suzerain questions and offer guidance to the new GM's. We also have been there helping the new GM's prep, we can help with maps, tokens, anything legal and within reason we can do to help just ask. You can also find out how to still qualify for the free Suzerain module even if you were unable to manage a game for FG-Con.
And get out there and sign up for some of the cool stuff we are offering at FG-Con (Noir Knights is all ready full, but we have spots open in the other 5, 4 if you don't speak French.
I also want to thank the great guys at Smiteworks, Mr. D, and David in customer support for helping us facilitate this offer and super fast turn around when free modules are requested. You are all awesome.

Monday night we gathered for the first of a bi-weekly event, the meeting of the Legends of the Round Table on Savage Mojo’s Discord. Present GMClyde, running Um, What Did I Just Drink? From the Clockwork Dreams introduction module, Miles M. Kantir, CEO of Savage Mojo, playing Dr. Amber Berkeley, gremian, Howard Brandon Savage Mojo’s Shaintar guru playing the pooka, Albert Ross, gunbunnyfufu from the Fantasy Grounds community and developer for the upgraded Suzerain module playing Spivey the Troll, and myself carrying the part of the pixie, Brianna Pruitt. Also present was Wind Serpent, from the forums to laugh at, …er I mean chat with us.
So a gremian, a pixie, a pooka and a troll go to investigate the house the pixie just inherited from an eccentric uncle…
On discovering the inheritance consisted of a decidedly decrepit house filled with molding paintings and draperies, clockwork rats, and crates and boxes of dusty papers and notes we searched through hoping to find something that made the mess worth our time. We instead managed to burn down Brianna’s inheritance in record time, escaping with our skins, our lives and an assortment of potions we found among Uncle Edmund’s possessions with a diary detailing what they did, though it was somewhat water stained and hard to read in places. Some of the potions had labels, some were partially damaged labels and some were anybody’s guess.
Disappointed at Uncle Edmunds apparent attempt to kill her, Brianna, on returning to her place with the others, the diary and the potions (and with typical pixie curiosity) decided to try a taste of some of the unlabeled potions. Haven’t been to a party like that since the 70’s. :P.
We invite everyone to join us for the next party, Savage Mojo will be hosting these sessions every two weeks on their Discord sever through this link https://discord.gg/rBETeMT. Stop in and say hi to some of the amazing creative team at Savage Mojo, talk to players and those of us working hard to get all things Suzerain on Fantasy Grounds. Or just maybe get in a game and have a drink with a pixie. I mean, what possibly could go wrong?
The next sessions are scheduled for 7-10 PM Eastern time USA on April 16th and 30th.

Less than a week to go to FG-Con, and the Savage Mojo team is ready to run. We have had a few training and practice sessions for the GM's running the material the first time and are looking forward to some great games. We still have just a few seats left across six games, so get these last seats before they are gone.

Well FG-Con is over and the team at Savage Mojo is all ready planning on how to increase the number of games offered for FG-Con 13. However first I want to thank the 4 new GM's that ran Suzerain settings this FG-Con and did such a superb job.
Savage Mojo had 6 sponsored games this past weekend, 4 of them run by GM's who stepped up and took advantage of the Savage Mojo free module offer. Wind Serpent, who took one of the more complicated one sheets from Set Rising and ran the chase better than I ever have. Black Hammer who took the Shanghai Vampocalypse setting and wrote his own story pre-dating the plot point campaign, in fact back to the original containment breach and he added some cool info about the telesma at veteran level because telesma in Suzerain "awake" at Heroic level. RamzaTyr took a much shorter one sheet from the Caladon Falls free module and filled in enough detail as we kept going left on him to take what could have been burned through in under two hours to fill (and run over) a full 4 hour sessions. Dragonheels ran the Clockwork Dreams in French, and the only Savage Mojo session I didn't attend personally (my French sucks), however I have spoke with him and he assures me they had a great time and will run more Suzerain in the future, and then the bennies will not be overlooked I am sure :).
Thanks to all the fantastic role-players who signed up for our games (none of us had to cancel because we couldn't get enough players) some of whom I have played with many times, some I met for the first time this FG-Con, a few new to Savage Worlds rules, Fantasy Grounds, Suzerain settings or all of the above. They jumped in with enthusiasm and brought their characters to life, at times with hilarious results.
I also want to thank the great guys at Savage Mojo, Miles Kantir, Howard Brandon, and ClydeC for being there with all the tips and support any of us required and wish for. Thanks to Doug Davidson and David Middleton at Smiteworks for working with us on the free module offer and getting the modules to the GM's literally within an hour of the request being made. And last but hardly the least, Damned and Trenloe, two of the great mods who make FG-Con happen every six months and spending so much of their time opening up opportunities for all of us to play more games, try new systems.
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and here it is the efforts of the entire Fantasy Grounds community to make a successful FG-Con. Thanks everyone.
Oh geez I got through all of that and forgot the unforgettable Darren Pearce, the write for Set Rising, a lot of Shaintar, Dungeonlands who has hung out with us offering support and some cool tips on how to ki....I mean make our encounters better. :)

Ellspeth nailed it in her post: FG-Con was a big success and the next one will be even bigger for Savage Mojo for sure. All the thanks she gave, well I want to give those thanks too, adding her to the list for her tireless efforts these last weeks. A round of applause to you.
@Damned and @Trenloe: Major kudos. A lot of people had a lot of fun because of you!

Hey everyone I know we have gone quiet since FG-Con, but we have been getting other things up and running. Tomorrow night will be the next bi-weekly meeting of the Legends of the Round Table night. 7-10 PM Eastern time, USA. Everyone is welcome, Clyde will be running a one shot for whoever shows and wants to play (he didn't clue me in to which Suzerain setting he would be running though.) Some of the Suzerain creators are usually there along with an assortment of players who want the opportunity to ask questions to those who know the settings best.
We meet on the Savage Mojo Discord server https://discord.gg/NqpwWc. If the link expires contact Clyde or myself and we can get you there.
We will be maintaining the dates on the FG calendar at this time, and we have no upper limit on the numbers who can join us.

If we get a huge number we have several GM's that can set up a one shot pretty quickly (we have run them before). Signing up just gives us an idea how many we may need to have ready to run for, and a means to contact you if you have difficulty finding the Savage Mojo Discord server.

Just a reminder, Savage Mojo's Legends of the Round Table bi-weekly session is this coming Monday, May 28th at 7PM EDT, on the Savage Mojo Discord server. We set up a calendar link here as a reminder, but you don't have to sign up to show up. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?id=3078
Last session Clyde ran a pick up session of Noir Knights, and it was hilarious. And Miles himself has dropped a few hints about running some games on FG on some of these Monday nights, so you can never be sure who will be there, or what is running, but we do always have a good time, even if all we do is spend a few hours talking Suzerain and how to run better games in the settings.
Savage Mojo is committed to helping GM's who run their material at levels I had never experienced before.
Right now I am running a Noir Knights campaign on Wednesday evenings, and I got a surprising offer of support when Miles asked if there was anything coming up in my game I could use some artwork for. Not sure what to expect I explained the party has been in New Orleans, but Lt. Boudreaux, anxious to get them out of his jurisdiction, sent them off to check on some leads north of New Orleans at girl's school and a nearby plantation. where they would find leads that would lead them to a swamp cult involved in blood sacrifices, and some art for the swamp cult village or ole Gator Joe would be nice, and thought no more about it. Few days later I received the following in an email.
23584
23585
Also included was a picture for Miss Bonner, the 6th pre-gen I created for Noir Knights last fall when I was running one shots and the published material only had 5. I had permission to include her in the free Noir Knights intro module, but unlike the others there was no artwork for her. Miles mentioned a few weeks ago they are going to include Miss Bonner in the official Suzerain pre-gens going forward, and he sent me this.
23586
Miss Bonner, the 1930's Lady P.I. who always has a knack for having just the right edge in any situation.
So do come and join us and get in on the fun.

In case you missed it in our A Call To Arms thread, there's new news of new games being run!
Damned has set up a new FG-Daze event! https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?44202-FGDaze-23rd-June-2018
Savage Mojo will definitely be running games as part of that. We've got a bunch of great ideas, so if you want to experience some of the Suzerain universe then I'm sure we can get you in on a session or two. If you're willing to run a session, I'd like to offer our full support - we'll happily work with you on creating great "Suzerainy" encounters, help with stat blocks, and I'm offering a special: I'll commission unique artwork for any session as part of FG-Daze, to give you that extra special bling.

Slowly catching up here. We did have our regular bi-weekly Monday Legends of the Round Table this past Monday. I ran a one shot from Set Rising I had run before (thank you Trenloe, Latina Bunny and Alan Meranda for playing). Unfortunately I also had my first PC kill as a GM in that session, and in a perfect storm of firsts, it was the first time Latina Bunny had her PC die (I am so sorry LB).
However this coming Monday, June 18th I am running an off week Tavern session in the same time and place, test running a new threat to the Suzerain realms. This will officially make it's debut at FG-Daze and the next few online conventions we are involved in, but this is an open table session, first come, first serve. You don't have to sign up to show up. :)
AND a sneak preview of the new artwork and bad guy coming from Savage Mojo.

Ellspeth gets the world exclusive reveal of the new threat to heroes that's coming to FG-Daze and beyond :-)
Monday is going to be a lot of fun. 7pm Eastern US time, on the Savage Mojo discord: https://discord.gg/tKEhuwy
Like Ellspeth says - everybody's welcome, just to hang out, to ask the developers questions, or to join in the game.

In case you were wondering, we are still here. :)
Sorry, I lost someone dear to me the first of May and have fallen behind, and it has been a bit of a personal struggle to keep up with my commitments.
So what has been happening while I distracted?
First, the Legend Awakens Round Table every other Monday is settling into the calendar nicely. Going into our fourth month, we now have several GM's who take turns running a one shots from the Suzerain Continuum. Any others who would like to run something for our loosely organized Monday night players, feel free to contact Clyde and let him know. Next Legends Round Table session is Monday, July 23rd at 7:30 PM Eastern time. We maintain the sessions of the calendar page here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?id=3078 , but as always you don't have to sign up to show up.
Savage Mojo is happy with the support we had at April's FG-Con and FG-Daze last month, and there are several upcoming online gaming events we plan to be participating in.
The end of this month is the Fantasy Grounds College Founders anniversary celebration from July 27th-29th on the FGC Discord server. I have one game posted and some of the other Savage Mojo team plan to as well. You can find FGC at this link https://discord.gg/Ew6nYyw
In September Nerds-International has their online virtual gaming Con, NIV-Con, September 15th and 16th, and Miles and the Savage Mojo GM's are all ready working with them on plans to have games offered there, at this point I think the best way to get information on how to run or play games for there event can be obtained here. https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/117231877652717213545 , or search out Nerds International on Discord.
Then of course the next FG-Con in October, more on that later, especially information on any offers for GM's who would like to run some Suzerain for that event.
Savage Mojo's participation with Fantasy Grounds has brought together two wonderful systems and some amazing people.
This past FG-Daze brought another Fantasy Grounds fan into the Savage Mojo family, when Stx11 signed up for one of our games this last FG-Daze. He joined the Savage Mojo Discord server, and in the way things happen at Savage Mojo, chatted with the awesome guys there. Now I am permitted to announce he has joined the official Savage Mojo team as a web developer (and I am sure in other capacities as well over time). Soon you will also be seeing changes to the Savage Mojo official forums. So help us welcome A. Daniel Stockser (AKA Stx11) to the team. (The guy to yell at if the website gives you trouble).
:) Happy Suzeraining!!!

In case you were wondering, we are still here....
We're definitely still here and going from strength to strength thanks to the efforts of Ellspeth and others. These are exciting times for Suzerain, a universe in gaming that can literally take your heroes anywhere, anywhen, and tie it all together with an over-arcing plot.
The last ten years have seen Suzerain develop some amazing campaigns in awesome realms, but this year we've looking forward to sharing the setting with many more of you. I can only support what Ellspeth says: join us on discord (click here for an invite link (https://discord.gg/tKEhuwy)), say hi, and share in some of our Fantasy Grounds events. We're huge fans of FG, so whether you're a veteran or new to FG, a veteran or new to Suzerain, a player or a GM, we'll help you find a place and offer a support network to help make your gaming sessions as much fun as possible.
Happy Suzeraining!

Yes I am lagging behind again, but no worries, even when I go quiet a lot is happening behind the scenes at Savage Mojo and Legends Awaken. Thundering Skies has been wrapped up and shhhhhhhh! Whispers on the inside tell us more realms in the Suzerain Continuum are being opened up and explored. Drop by the Discord server and you can download the new Primer for the upcoming MR23 (Mortal Realms) that is in the works. Or snag some of the cool new artwork being produced for pre-gens, campaigns, even some beautiful tools to support the use of the SW options like Social Conflicts and Dramatic Tasks.
We have also been running some one off teaching sessions on building Suzerain characters, getting the most out of Suzerain in Savage Worlds rules on Fantasy Grounds. The Noir Knights campaign I started last February is still running and quickly approaching the climactic events, of course all the PC's are now at Legendary rank and are drawing the attention of some malevolent forces.
We have several GM's planning to start campaigns over the next month or so, one I know is planning to run Dogs of Hades, the others I am less clear on, and some will be test running material still being developed. Also a little bird whispered to me that our fearless leader Miles M. Kantir is going to be running a campaign on Fantasy Grounds here soon.
We are still working to be involved in online gaming events like FG-Con, FG-Daze, FGC Founders, the upcoming Nerds International Virtual Con.
The new website is still in production, and I understand it is going to be a complete rebuild, and we will be sure to let everyone know when the unveiling is occurring.
So much is happening behind the scenes the best way to keep up is to join us behind the scenes. :)

As a preface to sharing this artwork I want to acknowledge the inspiration of Draeus at GMD. When I ran my very first one shots he was using a couple of images he had created to facilitate Dramatic Tasks, Social Conflicts, and Mass Battles and he was kind enough to create some customized to my Roman Britain one shots. They are so brilliant I had sometimes wondered why Savage Worlds publishers didn't create them for all of their settings. During the course of my association with Savage Mojo I had created a few very crude ones for use in my games, but I also shared with Miles the ones Draeus had created. As things go, something that useful will not be ignored forever, and in a group effort, Stx11 created the overlays, Miles had some art commissioned and the result is here.
24232
24233
These two are generic and can be used in any Suzerain setting, though the plan in the works is to create customized versions for each of the Suzerain realms. Once they are completed they will be added to the FG modules as an update.

It's all a bit of a blur - so much good stuff happening! I can definitely recommend dropping into the Savage Mojo discord server where you get to meet the Suzerain devs and have sneak peeks behind the scenes at all the new material we've been working on. We're also looking for Savage Worlds GMs willing to run occasional one-shot games on Fantasy Grounds as part of playtesting the new edition of Suzerain. No prior experience needed, of Suzerain, Savage Worlds or even Fantasy Grounds. We're happy to teach and share the fun.

This is going to be one of my briefer Legends updates. Tonight is the Legends Round Table bi-weekly one shot, Clyde will be running Noir Knights. Of course on the Savage Mojo Discord, 7-10 Eastern time.
Something else to watch for is the Suzerain Adventure Card deck which sirkerry has nearly finished. I got a test peek at it, very cool.
Discussions are all ready under way planning for FG-Con in October and Clyde has a game schedules at the NIV-Con next month. sign up here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1if35fxMzs0LwM0-9FgOmKdj-85eioFYSyHfm3NFe_1o/edit#gid=0
And a little bird over on the Savage Mojo Discord whispered that Miles himself would be talking to Doug on Fantasy Ground Friday, August 31st to tell you all the cool stuff coming at Savage Mojo.
Happy Suzeraining.

It has been over a month since my last update here, it has been a busy one with a lot of things happening.
First is Savage Mojo's new website has gone live. https://www.savagemojo.com/. It is a major change, and no longer has it's own store but you will find embedded links to rpgnow and the store here on Fantasy Grounds, as well as the link to the Savage Mojo Discord server.
Monday night is the Legends Round Table Night, this week the game is run by Gunbunnyfufu, picking up in Austeria where the Caladon Falls PPC ends.
Caladon has fallen. Having escorted the High Queen and children to the relative safety of the Trader Imperium, the Milltown Irregulars, heroes of the war with the Wild, are tasked with igniting the spark of resistance within the surviving citizens of Caladon, rally the Noble Houses if possible, and bring down as many of the Wild Armies as possible before further damage can be done to Caladon. But a Storm covers the land, and even Wild will bow to...the Tempest.
Pre-gens provided.
This is an open table, the first six to join play. 7PM Eastern on the savage Mojo Discord server.
Next things are hectic because Savage Mojo is developing realms from the Suzerain core materials more deeply, the MR23 realms. Stop by the SM Discord or check the website to see if any of the GM's planning some play testing have openings if you are interested.
Also the Suzerain Adventure Deck should be released soon on Fantasy Grounds. It is a complete deck, not an add on to the main Savage Worlds adventure deck and tied to Suzerain rules. It saved one of my players lives last session.
I am sure I am overlooking something, my fault for not getting this update done a bit quicker. Oh wait, the calendar. Savage Mojo is still working out the best way to put all of our games, both face to face and online on a calendar. https://calendar.google.com/calendar/
[email protected] r.google.com&ctz=America/Los_Angeles Times are all in Pacific Time at this phase, feedback is welcome.
And FG-Con, at this point Savage Mojo GM's have 4 games posted for FG-Con, we expect a few more but I am not going to nag. All have some seats open.
I think that covers it without tuning this into a mini-novel.
Happy Suzeraining!
