Is the D&D Complete Core Class Pack the same as DD PHB deluxe? I'm new and trying to upgrade my game. My friend has the DD PHB deluxe, yet I can only find the D&D Complete Core Class Pack on the store.

Yes, the Complete Core Class Pack is indeed the Player's Handbook. The name was changed for reasons which are now lost in the mists of time :)
