Tomb of Annihilation question

I have had a good look at this campaign and I can't see a suggested start date which when the whole campaign is a race against time seems to be somewhat a critical bit of information.

What year and month are other DMs starting this campaign?

Totally up to you, I'd suggest since the adventure doesn't need to be set in the Forgotten Realms.

I haven't started it yet, but if you have a running campaign then you can start it when convenient for you.

If it's a new campaign and you are worried about it fitting in with other campaigns, then I guess I would say 1492DR. That would set it just after PotA. Though it could be in parallel or something else since you are talking different parts of the world and the events could be happening at the same time. Since WotC didn't put a date on it, I don't think it really matters.
