Hey dude,

It's most definitely for you. I'm 28, coming up on 29, had a 5 year hiatus before FG raised me from the grave. Like you, our group consists of married men with children on the way, maintaining own companies of full time careers.

There's plenty of possibility for finding a group that plays, say once every 2 weeks, or once every week. We're all a welcoming bunch here, so do go ahead, I'm sure you'll be happier for it.

That is all depending on what you want. You have to be aware that it isn't a game in itself, rather than a vessel for taking traditional 'Pen and Paper' RPG's online. If that is indeed what you're looking for then FG is good choice. It has a lot of eyecandy, a bunch of nice features and a lot of even nicer features coming.

Uh uh, no way..

We all got together and went over your psychological profile, sattelite pictures, and your report from the NSA and it's deffinately not for you. We can handle it. Hey, we love it, but you just don't measure up....

You're way too old, in five years you'll be my age, and I'm much younger than you. Nobody's up this late anyway and those that are, are just looking for something to do. Television is a much more stimulating option - its much less interactive. Think of the imagination you wont be wasting.

Is that what you wanted? An opinion based on our intimate knowledge of your situation? :)

FG is a way to play the Pen & Paper game over the internet. It removes all the commute time and travel expenses at the cost of face to face contact. It also costs a few dollars once, and you need an internet connection. You won't miss the purchase price in a month and if you have an internet connection already its almost free.

You need the books, your imagination, some patience and enough fascination with role playing to make the rolls come alive in your imagination? So is it for you? If its not for you, how much are you venturing to give it a try.

If you try it, it might change your life. If you don't, your life will be the same forever.
