Just started up a new rl group using FG to speed along play, and we are looking at this build carefully as a good place to start a table build of our own!
There are articles on about half-a-dozen different tables I've seen with a TV laid into them. I think a couple are on the forums here. Don't know where I've come across the others. One actually had a materials list and some basic instructions to go with it.

If you are into carpentry, it should not be more than the challenge you make it. A couple things to consider;
- Are you going to protect the TV screen from scratches (i.e. plexi or glass)
- Are you going to protect the TV from liquid spills (and how)
- Of course, don't forget to allow for cooling of the TV and computer if the table is not open underneath.

Here's an excellent thread on boardgamegeek about tables. The first post has some plans for a table in it, including the embedded TV and wiring it with outlets. But all through the thread people post their results and ideas.
