View Full Version : Modifying other .mod files?

OK, I'm playing around converting the old d20 Conan rules using the 3.5 mod files. As it is, it is almost perfect but there are some quirky differences I'd like to modify, primarily on the character sheet. How do I go into the "blank" 3.5 character sheet and add or change fields?

If this is already out there, forgive me and just point me in the right direction. All of the tutorials I've found so far are focused more on importing and exporting character sheets from baseline games.

Much obliged,

Changing the fields on the character sheet is going to require you to modify the ruleset. You can create a custom ruleset or an extension. I've played around with it a little bit (working on making a Star Frontiers sheet for CoreRPG). It's not an easy thing for me (I'm no coder/developer) but it is something that can be done.

There are several people who have done similar things, but I don't have those threads at the moment. Search should get you close. Plus, someone may have already made a ruleset for d20 Conan (sounds familiar) so I would search on that too.

But if you can't find it by searching, odds are someone will be along and give you more precise info. Good luck :)
