One of my players can't connect to the table, she gets this message:

I told she to restart as admin and clear the cache, and she is getting this message:

How to solve it?

First issue is because she does not have write permissions to the cache. That can be resolved by running as Admin, but the correct solution is to actually make sure the installation is correct and the permissions are set appropriately. There is a post around here somewhere detailing how to do this, but I'm not sure where.

I don't know the second error, but it sounds like it to might be a permissions issue.

Sounds to me like she has her data directory set to a location that doesn't exist.

Her cache is in the app folder, wtf. I told her to uninstall the steam version and download the website version

Steam version and website version are the same program really.

When she re-installs have her choose a different install location than C:\Program Files (x86). Windows does weird things with permissions in that directory.

Have her install to something like C:\Fantasy Grounds.

The recommendation is not to change the default directory locations that Fantasy Grounds uses. Do a complete uninstall, and then a reinstall. Once the reinstall completes, start Fantasy Grounds and click the folder icon in the top right hand corner. This will open the application data directory where Fantasy Grounds stores all of the campaign and library data. See this thread for details of where this should be located: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?30604-Windows-file-access-issues-can-t-update-campaigns-not-saving-etc-Fix-options If it is not in the best location, then click the "Options" button and change the "Data Directory" (not the "App Directory) to reflect the recommendation in the above thread.

She tried it and the error continued, I connected in her computer with the TeamViewer and changed the default folder, after that it worked, for some reason I don't know even with the default folder the software was trying to save the informations in the app folder instead of the data folder.

Once the data directory location is changed, it is stored in the Windows registry, and is not reset on uninstall/ reinstall. The only way to change back after changing it initially is to manually set it.

It's always best to leave the default install locations, since we know those locations allow the appropriate protections and permissions.
