OK I was creating a named NPC for a campaign I am running. He is a spellcaster, a cleric to be more specific. I was filling out his spellcasting trait information. I input his list of prepared spells and then i needed to take a break. I never input any of the spells themselves just listed them. When i came back to finish him later all the cantrips and 1st level spells info was on his sheet but not any others I don't know how they got there they just were. Is there something I need to do to make the rest of his list magically appear like the cantrips and 1st level spells or does FG on magically input those for me and I need to type out the rest manually. I tried to drag and drop off the spell list but none of the info was correct (i.e. his chance to hit with a spell attack or his save DC) but all the info was correct for the spells that magically appeared though. So I'm confused and pretty much will take any suggestions, advice, hints, and tips I can get.

See the Spellcasting section (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?35937-How-to-Automate-effects-on-NPCs) of this guide. Or if you prefer a video there's this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wP7oeHO-nQs&list=PL3h0dIaiayC_AW7djpTlriZEtg2WBCCvp&index=7).

Ok I did do that and the only spells it put in automatically where cantrips and first level spells. The rest of the spells I had to do manually. Did I do something wrong?

Yes. I suspect what you probably did was enter the cantrips and 1st level spells and then later entered the rest. The spells only populate the first time you open the NPC. So if you opened it and the cantrips and 1st level spell were the only ones there it will have populated those. Later the addition of the rest of the spells would not work; unless you deleted all of the spells that had already populated first. So to fix the problem; delete all of the spells on the NPC, close the NPC and then reopen it.

Ok cool thanks. Ill keep that in mind for future NPC's. I already did him the hard way by putting in the rest manually. I did drag and drop from the spells but i had to make sure each one reflected his abilities.
