FG....FGII - I do not get the difference

I am just discovering this application and it is awesome. I have a demo and I started playing with a buddy who got the Ultimate version. After one session I am in love with this app. It is exactly the thing I have always wanted Anyway....

I have seen many tutorials that mention and use FGII, but I do not see that it is listed anywhere on the site. Is this something in beta that is coming down the pipe?
If so, and I buy the current system, will my license and modules transfer?

Actually, the tutorials are old and we are on FG 3.3 with FG: Unity somewhere down the road

So, are you saying there is not a branch that is being developed and the game is only going to continue as FG with versioning?

FG, FGII and FG 3.x are all the same thing - subsequent versions of the same software. FG Unity will (when released) be a different creature, though with some backward compatibility.

Hi hehaub and welcome to FG. Yes, some of the tutorials are old. Fantasy Grounds is just Fantasy Grounds regardless of the version.
