FG slow response on Windows PC

Currently my FG operates very slowly, and responds to commands with a lot of lag especially when resizing windows even though my computer has plenty of horse power to accommodate FG. Are there any recommended settings that could help with this?

There are many posts on this subject (do a search for slow response or lag). There are also many possible causes and possible solutions. It may be that you'll want to turn down some of the higher graphics settings, make sure that FG is running with your graphics card and not with your on board graphics card, switch off cross platform compatibility and I'm sure there are other possibilities in the many posts on the subject.
