Hey all,

I saw a tutorial on the combat tracker by Matthew Colville. Very helpful stuff.

At one point he talks about holding shift when doing your attack roll to ensure maximum damage.

Are there other hotkeys for, say, half damage or 1/4 damage? Do these modifiers work on attack rolls as well or can you only fudge these with the +/- system in the bottom left corner?

It depends on the ruleset you are using.

If you are referring to thr 5E D&D ruleset, try opening the modifiers window (small +/- button in upper right). In there, you will find several options to modify attack and damage rolls. Just toggle the buttons before you roll. The only shortcut modifier keys for those rolls is the Shift key which does opportunity for attack rolls, and critical for damage rolls.

You will want to connect to yourself using localhost to see how each of the options you consider look from the player side.
