(LFP 3-4) 5e GMT+10. anytime tues/wed/thurs. Homebrew setting. have ultimate license

I have decided to run a homebrew campaign in 5e.
I have DM'd a few campaigns beforehand although I am still somewhat new.
We will have a session 0 to hammer out core concepts and what have you. We will be working off of Core books, EE and Volos. Other add-ons and homebrew can be submitted for review

The time is fairly open and can do all day tues/weds/Thur though keep in my i am in Australia. We can hammer down a proper time based on whomever decides to join. We will be using discord for voice.

The campaign starts at level 3 and will be set on a small continent and follow the adventures of our rag tag group of adventurers as they try and thwart the machinations of the BBEG and have a spiffing good time doing it. Or they can sit in a cave and poke grubs if that's what floats their boat. Major cities are mapped but feel free to add in small towns and/or remote locales to flesh out your character

Sounds interesting but heres a few questions. Player content: Do you allow all published books and would you allow UA or homebrew content? Is the continent mapped out or does the players have room for individual backstory content? Would you allow players to have a paragraph of backstory of free rein or does it even matter if they did make a background? Starting level and money?

All good questions that I really should have put in the OP. So I did.

On FG I have EE and volos and the core books. So that would be easiest to grab characters from. But feel free to request some homebrew or UA if you need to. Starting level 5, normal gold, normal starting equipment and a common magical item. Regarding backstory, a few sentences will be sufficient. Just to establish motivation and maybe 1 or 2 dangling story threads.

Would be interested but would not be able to play on Tuesday. Best day would be Thursday and time on either Wed or Thur would be flexible. I am in the US on the west coast but again time is not an issue. Please let me know.

Now that discord link is expired. I have seen you on several forum posts for stuff all around 7pm AEST. Is this the same campaign or are you running several (Wednesday and Thursday)? You think it is hard to find games in Austrailia... try Hawaii. ;-)

Yeah just the one campaign. Changed the date from Thursday to Wednesday. Yeah I guess at least Australia is a big island with other places above it. Hawaii is all alone in the middle of the Pacific. What time zone are you in

Hawaii - HST (GMT -10) I wanted to start later my time anyway, so that my daughter would already be asleep. 7pm your time is OK. 6 would be better, but beggars can't be choosers. How long to the sessions really actually last?
