Hi,
I just bought FG, so sorry if the question has been asked a million times already. I did a search but only found vague responses. I really like the leather stitched look and this other theme I found -> https://imgur.com/a/W3g2W , but I play Pathfinder and it seems these belong to 5E. Is there any way I can use either one of these themes in Pathfinder because the Pathfinder themes are abysmal.
Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
The answer to your question is sort of. You would basically have to create the same/similar theme in the new rulessytem. You would be able to re-use some of the graphic assets, but maybe not all of them and it is fairly guaranteed you would have to make some new ones too.
Both PF and 5E are based off of the CoreRPG ruleset so they will have similarities, but they also have lots of unique things about them.
Someone will probably be alone in a bit who has actually tried or has done something like this in the past and can give you more details.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it was something "involved". If anyone has any suggestions on where to begin, that would be much appreciated.

@Raginstorm
You will want to begin by getting very familiar with which frames and windows are redefined in the theme and with all of the frames and windows defined in the ruleset you would like to port it to. You will also want to become familiar with the structure of an Extension and how to create one. Basically, there is a LOT of pieces you will need to rework, some may be fairly easy because they are inherited from CoreRPG.. many others will be new and may need to be rewritten to use the desired graphics and layouts instead or all new graphics will need to be created for them.

I haven't made a theme yet, but I have done some extension work (a little). There might be a more concise set of info for you, but these are the resources I would look into:
Well, make sure you first understand about extensions. a tutorial is here; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20449-Tutorial-Creating-a-Basic-Extension
Then you will need the developer guides, here; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20675-Developer-Guides
The 5E art asset list; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?36157-5e-Asset-Templates or this one https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?36035-Art-Asset-List-for-5e-Themes
A thread on an theme development that might help:

Looks like I have my work cut out for me. It's a shame that they have not developed an easy skinning process. Well, I guess I will get to reading and seeing if this is worth the hassle I suppose. I'm a forever DM for my group so I really would like my copy of FG to look nice, makes the learning curve easier to swallow. Thanks a bunch!
