I am hoping to run a game on Fantasy grounds for a group of my friends. Does anyone know if anyone has created the "Masks of the Living Gods" module for use with Fantasy grounds? I would do it myself but I am way new to using the online style and just don't know how to do it.

I would be interested in finding someone who had it already converted or could convert it for me. Any an all input is appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Fallyndray, welcome to the community :)

All of the 3.5 and PF modules that have been converted by the community are listed here; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?16074-List-of-Modules
Some of the PF things have been converted and are listed on the FG Store, but I don't think this one has.

Though my understanding is that module has not been released under the OGL and therefore is still protected IP, and therefore it can't be shared or distributed legally. And the FG community is very careful to protect everyone's copyright and are careful to not to allow such breaches.

If you have the PDF already, it should be pretty easy to pull out the maps and setup the encounters and then with minimal effort you should be able to run it with FG combined with using the PDF for your own reference and reading out text etc.

Oh, that makes more sense. I wasn't aware of the protected IP issues with different texts/modules, thanks for that information. I do own the PDF and was just hoping to be able to transfer quickly to the Fantasy Grounds platform, but I understand that I will have to create the tiles and encounters myself.

Is there any tutorials on how to create things in the FG program? I have played a little bit but it seems likes its a tiny bit more complicated then I was anticipating.

Thanks again for all the help already. :D

Sure, there are lots of tutorials.
Checkout the Help (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/home/home.php#) section from the homepage. There is a User Manual, links to tutorial videos, wiki, and more.
For module development, see this; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?33538-Adventure-Module-Creation-Best-Practices
Also the 3.5/PF forum has a thread with more videos and tutorials listed; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20693-User-Guides-and-Videos

Masks of the Living God is released under the OGL. But you can only share data that is covered by the OGL: basically statblocks, items, spells, feats, etc.. You can't share maps/images and storyline.

That being said, no one to my knowledge has made the OGL material available for this scenario.

Some details here about getting Pathfinder scenarios into Fantasy Grounds: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?17108-Steps-to-create-your-PFS-scenario-in-Fantasy-Grounds

Additionally, there is an agreement with Paizo to share scenarios that are PFS sanctioned (which Masks is) if you prove you own the material and that material is not available in the FG store. More details here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20244-Private-sharing-of-PFS-scenario-data-available-modules. However, no one has advertised that they have Masks available.
