pictures for NPC's

How come when I create an NPC and then save him onto my campaign storyboard, I cannot drag a picture from the resources into his profile? I seem to be able to drag pictures from the PC's profiles onto the NPC's to give them a face, but I don't seem to be able to do this from the given resources provided with FG?

Is every NPC doomed to carry the face of the PC's?

Drag the picture to the notes tab to create a link. To show it to the players, click the link and right click, select share.

Drag tokens to a NPC sheet, not portraits. Portraits are for PCs.
