Is there an easy way to pull the monsters out of the existing WOTC content into a stand alone module so I can have them open without having all the mods open for my homebrew content?

Same with spells, etc. I'd like to make one major module that has all the character creation stuff so I don't have to have so many mods open at the same time (I own all the WOTC stuff, plus other mods).

No, the system is deliberately designed to allow individual book options to be turned on and off; but allow all of the loaded options to be accessible in a single list via the sidebar buttons.
