I have a couple questions that I could use some help on.
1. What does everyone use for a map maker? I have Dundjinni, but i was wondering if there are any other map makers for a campaign area map...something for large scale?
2. I have been fooling around with the demo until i get the full version, I was wondering how to get a monster's attack bonus into the modifiers box...can't drag and drop with the demo? Is that just a demo thing or what?

Autorealm (https://sourceforge.net/projects/autorealm/) is a great tool if you want to create world maps. Plus it's completely free!

1. cc2 is popular but I hear its hard to learn how to use. A friend of mine is using the map maker from Civ3 to make world maps.
2. Currently no, but I think that is going to change in the future. Right now I create hot keys for the attacks I think are going to take place for that nights adventure.

ok thanks for the info
so you create hotkeys for the various attack bonus' or for the creatures you will be using?
also does anyone know a good place to get more character portraits and tokens?

https://www.FourUglyMonsters.com makes some nifty top down tokens. For portraits and tokens I usually make them myself. There is a web app out there called Tokentool that makes it really easy to take web graphics and make them into tokens. Find tokentool here: https://rptools.net/tokentool.php

Thanks festivus for directing me to that site...has come nice tokens I'll probably look into getting some of them. The tokentool looked pretty nice as well.
I heard someone mention that you could take NWN portraits and use them in FG is that true?

You can take any image you find (in the right format) and use it in FG. For tokens you'll probably have to scale and cut some but it will work.
I take an image I like, put it into the images folder as a picture of that character/npc. Then I copy the face part and make a new image that I scale to 50 x 50 pixs that I use as a token.

I downloaded this program a while ago, it's pretty nice for quick and easy making of tokens (though you might not like the sizes).

I'm a member of the rptools staff.
https://rptools.net/ and click on the tokentool links is a better way to find it, we've reorganized the site so the url above doesn't work anymore.
Feel free to visit us on our site and forums if you want to give feedback or make requests.

Also, this is a good time to announce that there's a new alpha version just released which allows you to resize the template to whatever output size you want.
