It has occured to me that there is an easy way in the short term to handle dice pools.

Just have the dice that are displayed in the chat area ordered from, say, lowest to highest. In other words, if I rolled six 10-sided dice, then the lowest die would be the first result displayed, etc.

This way, a number of different games that use dice pool systems can a bit more easily been read without having to put in place an entire new dice support system. At least for the short run.

Long run, a way to define our own dice mechanics might be great! Look at OpenRPG's dice rolling files for how they do it; they have their die rolling mechanisms defined by xml files. But for the short run, simply recoding the display of results would rock! :)
