Hmm I didn't watch the video - was on commute into work.

I had always assumed "Shlay" but being from NY id have written it to describe how pronounced with "Schlay" since the "sch" sound isn't quite "sh".

Yeah, I'd always internalized it as "Shlay" as well, but it's "Shlie" (or "Shleye", or "Shlai" or however you'd like to spell it in your head, heh).
