Updated and now FG will not start

I ran the update and now I get the attached error message. I have an in-person game tomorrow morning, please help!

Thanks for the tip. I looked at them but no dice. I'll try to uninstall and re-install.

Check your anti-virus, it might be quarantining or blocking the update or parts of it.

That error usually means that the application file is not a valid executable file, which also usually means that one of the FG files has been modified by security software. Someone had a reported a similar error message, and they tracked it back to the security software they used. I can't seem to find the thread or email at the moment though.

Well, I think I got it. I uninstalled and reinstalled and updated it and it's fine. Just had to backup my data and overwrite.
Thanks for the help though fellas. it's hard to even know where to begin to look when something goes wrong.

Next time I think I'll update AFTER the session...
