Evening All,

Me again, been busy here because lots of niggles that I want to sort on the WOiN (What's Old is New) ruleset.

At the moment when you roll a skill roll you get:

[ATTRIB] Int (3d6) - [SKILL] Appraise (1d6) vs (Target 18) [FAILURE]

Then you get the dice shown showing (for example) 13.

[ATTRIB] Int (3d6) - [SKILL] Appraise (1d6) - [EQUIP] (1d6) vs (Target 18) [SUCCESS]

Then you get the dice shown showing (for example) 19.

Is it possible to change the font/colour of the [FAILURE] and [SUCCESS] text to be different from the rest?

I expect not, but would be a nice touch.

Cheers

Nope. You have to use the same font for the whole message. <color> is linked to the font specified for the whole message. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/refdoc/font.xcp

Use cool icons to indicate failure or success for the chat entry?

Use the "icon" resource reference in the chat message you're building up. See the Message Data Structure here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/refdoc/Comm.xcp It's one icon per message, but it's a pretty common use in FG - for example, the hit/miss icons to the left of d20 based RPG attack rolls.

Yep, just been reading that to see if I could swap the colours etc and missed the icon bit, noticed it now. Cheers chap, you're on fire as usual.
