View Full Version : Question on combining spell effects (damage + self heal)

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone know of a way to write/code a spell or ability to heal for the amount of damage done. I.e. like the "Vampiric Touch" spell in D&D 5E.

For this specific purpose my DM have given me a corruption that works like a divine smite (proc on hit), where I can expend X number of hit didce to do Xd8 damage to target and heal myself for the amount of damage done.

There's nothing in the ruleset automation to do that. Plus, there's the question of whether resistance/vulnerability is factored in before/after your healing factor.

I'd just modify my wounds after hitting.
