Hey all,

I stumbled across this theme (https://i.imgur.com/zef2Uke.jpg), which I believe may be an old FG stock theme, and was wondering if there was any way to use it on the current version of FG?

Also, are there other themes hiding somewhere? I've looked around but have only come across the ones on the FG Con site and a couple on DMsGuild that were a little too clinical for my liking.

That theme is no longer available. Apparently it was too close to the appearance of some other products appearance and it was pulled/changed.

Other than the themes you can find on the forums here and on the FG Con site, I'm not aware of any others.

I agree. So make your own theme (www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?36035-Art-Asset-List-for-5e-Themes). That seems to be the consensus at this time (until more themes are made public). Not a lot of community artists though.

Has anyone recreated this theme? It would be great for Tomb of Annihilation game.

My understanding is it was pulled because of possible copyright infringement. Therefore to recreate it and distribute it publicly would be frowned upon, and possible result in a Cease and Desist, and possible legal action.

That is, if as I was told long ago, that's why it was removed.

@LordEntrails. What's the simplest way to create a theme. Digging around in XML isn't very fun, even for us developers. I seem to recall some instructions somewhere but also that it was xml. Do you happen to know the link?

I'm toying with the idea of creating an on-line, visual, theme creator

Also, do you know if the format will be consistent in the new version?

I have very little idea how to create a theme. There is somewhere a post titled something like Art Asset List that might help. My understanding is that every extension/customization in FG uses XML and LUA.

Here's a list of all of the art assets (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?36035-Art-Asset-List-for-5e-Themes) used in a theme (not sure how up to date that might be since there could be a few more now since that list was complied).

You would need to track down an existing theme and change the assets to whatever ones you want. I suspect that you will also need to at least understand the lua behind it otherwise you'll have no idea what has gone wrong if it doesn't work.
