Is there going to be a new version or a replacement tool? It's listed in several issue resolution threads. and was just recently referenced for an issue.

No, there will not be a replacement. It was discovered to be a security vulnerability, and tool was removed.

What are you trying to do?
If you need access to character data for an existing campaign, you will need to reconnect to the GM to get a fresh copy. Otherwise, you can send to [email protected], if you are unable to get access to the GM's campaign.

Wow had no clue it was a vulnerability I was going to extract a character to play around with it. Was just mostly curious on why it had disappeared and was't working on the newer files.Thanks for the info.
