MM images not transfering to HotDQ module

When I drag and drop images from the Complete Monster Manual into the Images 'Panel' of HotDQ to image does not display.
Images display when I open them directly from the Monster Manual and I can share them and the players can see them.
However, when I drag and drop them into the Images & Maps of HotDQ all I get is gray within the image window.

How do I solve this problem?

You can not drag and drop images to copy them, since image copying is explicitly disabled for content protection reasons. If you try to drag to the campaign Images list, there is a message in the chat window that mentions to use the Folder button instead.
