I'll start by saying the thing that tends to piss the most people off here - The price of Fantasy Grounds was a bit much in the past. And most people who didn't buy the product would probably agree with me. Fortunately, Smite Works gave you the option of fully testing the capability of the application with it's demo before actually buying the product, and they've provided alot of support for it up to this very day. While I still think those nice little cushions did not warrent the feature vs price ratio, I'm prepared to say that I like the new bundle option they've made available.
First of all, I doubled Smite Works quite a bit, so my apologies go out to them. I honestly thought "Nah, if they come out with bundles, it's gonna be at most a 30% discount". I was surprised to see up to a 60% discount, AND the ability to customize your bundle. Granted, for a standard DM + 4 player package, your still paying $80, but for eight players, it only costs $110. That's a nice deal. A very nice deal. It's still more than I would pay just to enjoy a nice D&D game with my friends (the bundle discount would have to bring it down to at least $60 for DM + 4 Players), but still, for those who have the ability to just throw money away, it's very reasonable.
Definitely a huge improvement to the former pricing schema (which is also still available). Perhaps some additional features implemented in the near future would bring it's value up enough for me to get all my old gaming buddies together again.
