5e character sheet question?

On the main page of the character sheet, under character/level, if you clock on the magnifying glass it brings up a pop up. On that, all the way to the right is a box that says used. What is that?

Your hit dice used for healing perhaps.

Indeed, as JohnD says. When you use a dice during a short rest to heal that box will populate with the number of dice that you have used to do so.

Ok thanks! Makes sense. The question was asked after a long session and Day. My brains were maybe not as sharp as should be. When we were asked only the character in question was the only one to have this. We compared them to others we weren't sharp enough to figure out that they didn't take the short rest.
