Welcome to the forums and the FG Community!

No, They send the keys purchased to Valve every 6ish weeks or so, so watch this thread and when they update it you can activate it using the "Activate Game" option. (https://steamcommunity.com/app/252690/discussions/2/558755530621472814/)

Although the just added them through 3/28 so if you purchased it before then it's already in the system. (https://steamcommunity.com/app/252690/discussions/2/558755530621472814/?ctp=10#c135512625256535702)

Nylanfs comment is correct on how they update.

This may be INCORRECT info from me, but in case this is what you meant and on steam it is sold as "upgrade" vs "ultimate edition" then there may be a requirement to have "standard" for the "upgrade" to get you to "ultimate."

I would say the indicator would be what does it cost on this site. Compare that to the "ultimate upgrade" if it is less and the amount less = price of "standard FG" then probably both are required.

***DO NOT BUY ANYTHING BASED ON THIS RESPONSE - until verified***

I could totally be wrong... but I THINK that's how I bought it a year and change back. Maybe I overpaid, but I think I made that comparison and figured that. Of course, SINCE buying the first game on Steam, I started buying everything else directly here on SW site so more $ goes to development.

yeah there could be some confusion here huero_culero

If you have bought the Ultimate Upgrade on steam and not the Standard license as well, either here or on Steam, then you will need the base license. The upgrade does require the base product.
